BlueCube 2002-06-25 03:22 PM

You can always... duck and cover!

They used to have "Nuclear Drills" way back when (during the cold war, I think). The school would sound an alarm, and all of the students would go under their desks. Voila! Instant protection!

No, Randuin, you won't... and neither would I or anyone in the surrounding states. Because...

Randuin 2002-06-26 02:18 PM

but i fail to see how it's so "freaky"

Strider Fury 2002-06-26 11:50 PM

the real point of the maps is to locate the important military structures/installations/bases thats near you and see if you will surive a nuclear blast if it was targeted. the thing is that even though you might be well away from the fatal radias the radioation would not make the rest of your life a happy one.

RoboticSilence 2002-06-26 11:51 PM

Or to locate the nearest nuclear power plant that you need to get the hell away from.

Strider Fury 2002-06-26 11:53 PM

yes right from the moment you see the sightlyest flash of a nuclear explosion from the point were the shockwave hits you. not trying to be stracastic.

Sirpullido 2002-06-27 12:00 AM

Well... my town doesn't seem to exist in those... "maps"

Strider Fury 2002-06-27 12:02 AM

dont worry no one would have the right mind to nuke spain and their nuclear plants are pretty safe cause spain is pretty well developed so i wouldnt worry if i were you.

Strider Fury 2002-06-27 12:03 AM

where do you live in maybe i can try it for you when i try it the first time i didnt get it right.

Sirpullido 2002-06-27 12:16 AM
