Venom looks pretty good. The whole crazy looking mouth thing would be cool though :D. I wanna see him eat someone! ^^

how do u watch it? when i click the link, the video area is just white for me and nothing loads up

but anyways, out of all the new movies out there this is the one movie i can't wait to come out the most

spiderman is an awesome series. I loved both the first and second so much that i know ill be outside the theater waiting.

Yeah, I honestly didn't think that Venom was Spiderman, just a dark side of him, I thought they were two separate people? Oh well, still looks pretty cool. :)

Venom is Spiderman's darker side - a Symbian from outer space comes down and takes control of Spidey, and hence forms Venom... or so the cartoon series says.

There's that sand guy on there too and it looked like the Goblin. That one looks freak'n action-packed ....maybe this is going to be the last one since it has so many of the bad guys?

Well, there is still Carnage as an enemy (my favorite, BTW), so I hope there is another one!

What did Carnage do?

From what I've heard, this is the final one of the Spiderman Trilogy.

Which Goblin is it? Hobgoblin, or the Green Goblin?

Carnage is the most kickass spidey baddie of all time... he cuts people into cubes and feeds em to his dog. I thought Venom was a seperate person... I mean, I did read the comics... I can't remember who it was that the alian symbian transferred to... it wasn't spidey, it was some hotshot astronaught...

It did try and take over Spidey, I think... I don't know. :p

EDIT: I thought so, but I wasn't sure. The astronaught who brought the symbiote back is John Jameson.

Well the hot shot astronaut is already in the series. MJ was gonna marry him :O!

Oh yeah! I remember that! Heh, been about a year since I last saw spidey 2. And yeah, all they've done so far is green goblin, doc oc, and going to do venom... What about spider-girl? I hope she's in it =b

Where did spider-girl come from? I only remeber Black Kat.

Villain that they are absolutely mad to miss --- KINGPIN!! Everyone loves a big, old, mean, fat guy, right?

KINGPIN!!!! LOL I read every single issue of daredevil last summer when I had a broken arm. Spider-girl? Never Heard of? Tisk tisk! Think of spidey, think of him with boobs.

Actually, it's still Green Goblin. Hobgoblin's a completely different person who just used more primitive versions of the Green's equipment (well, at the start)

Venom is Eddie Brock. The alien went from Parker to Brock since Parker rejected it and forced it to seperate from him. In the comics, Venom is actually on someone else now.

Villains we haven't covered:

Kraven the Hunter

And there are several Spider-girls, but the most common one is Peter and Mary Jane's daughter in one of the alternate future timelines. She's actually pretty kickass for a kid, being infected with the Venom symbiote but being able to control it.

What's the story behind Venom?

"Venom" is actually an alien creature attached to a human.

It was advertently discovered originally by Robbie Jamieson (the astronaut son of Jonah) during a space flight (some comic storylines say the moon, other say on a comet.)

On the return trip to earth, the symbiote attempts to combine with the astronauts, causing the shuttle to crash. When Spidey comes to save the astronauts (which he successfully does), he comes into contact with the symbiote)

Now the rest might be movie spoilers so I'll cover them.

When Spidey sleeps that night, the symbiote merges with him physically. He wakes up hanging from a lightpost/building without knowing how he got there.

Over the next little while, he learns how to use the symbiote's different powers. His strength is far higher than it was before, he has much more web control and can even shapeshift.

However, a few days later while busting criminals, he finds himself filled with an incredible anger and desire to kill the criminals instead of bringing them in. He is able to resist the alien influence though and runs off.

Eventually, Spidey realises that he must get rid of the symbiote. He goes to a clocktower (early on, he discovered that large noises cause the symbiote pain) and uses the bell to forcibly remove it.

However, there it comes into contact with Brock who has always hated Spiderman and had followed him there. Instead of rejected the symbiote, Brock lets it control him since they share a common hatred of Spiderman.

Brock becomes Venom then. A creature of pure hate and malice with only two goals: killing Spiderman and, later on, propagating it's species.


Carnage is actually the same species as Venom but he is a merge of a symbiote and a homicidal maniac.

I was going to mrntion Mysterio before, but I had a sudden thought that he was X-Men, for some reason. But now I know he's Spiderman because he's some mad Special Effects guy who wants to kill Spidey. :(

I heard that they were liscensed to do 7 movies a good while back, so, pending producer and actor interest, we'll have up to that many. I do expect us to have another movie with Carnage.

Speaking of, the symbiote that makes Carnage is an offspring of Venom, correct?

From what I sorta remember, a more fucked up version.

Or maybe I'm making that up because I saw carnage as being more of a psycho then VEnom.

Well, Carnage was Venom's offspring fused with a psychotic killer.
