EverQuest or DAoC
 

I have EverQuest but I'm thinking about gettin DAoC. What do you guys think? I'd probably have to end the billing on EverQuest.

You like dungeon camping or pvp'ing? Never played Daoc, but I have some friends who have. I hear its got much much more pvp content.

Yea get UO and play on my server 'Vengence'..... buy if you had to choose, get DAoC because the pvp rocks! I mean cmon 200 people vs 200 people trying to capture a castle!

wow that's amazing... but if we get enough players on vengence and sum gets a better connection because we all like to donate *cough* *cough* :) we can have that too in the beginning everyone grab a bag and we can have color warz

Those graphics are like 10x better than EQ's. I think I'm going to get this game, end billing on EverQuest, then start billing on this one. DAoC has like soo many more people too.

Yea theres been alot of changes to DAoC since it came out, its easier to level up, pvp is more balanced and theres new dungeons, monsters, and a new pvp server where yuo can attack your own realm. Youll semi like, or hate the game til level 20, after that its PvP large scale assualts all the way



:edit: Little known fact: DAoC and Morrowind use same 3d engine ;)
The possibilitys for Morrowind have an online addon pack are bigger then you think.

Humm I've a 30 days trial account of EQ, i just have to download the trial game...

EQ's graphics are alright but they need A LOT more detail

i got daoc... its pwns EQ if ne of u play i play on hibby/gawaine name Antorcha lvl 34 hero.. also i play on Mordred/hibbby name is Antorcha lev 9 enchanter

I think I'm just gonna wait for Star Wars Galaxies to come out and play with SYG.

same. it looks awesome, and the expansion will add good shit too, flying through space and such.

are there free DAoC servers?

Free as in not paying?

no, all the servers are like 12$ a month, unless you go for the 3 months/6months deals...

The pvp server also just came out, its nonstop PVP...if thats what you like. Its also very hard on the low lvls though, expect to die a LOT, unless you know what your doing.

Daoc also somewhat lacks an endgame...you hit 50, then all you have is pvp/keep taking, and that gets boring after so long. If you are looking for a nice grouping/pve expierence, stay away from the pvp server, hit a roleplaying server.

My only warning is not to level too fast expecting to do all kinds of stuff (besides killing poeple) at level 50, there isnt too much to do besides pvp/farm loot
