I need some help from someone on my playing skills. I know I am making mistakes but I need some training or help on what to do or what not to do..

well you could start by learning all of the good combos, like the plasma pistol and the battle rifle, which is my favorite.

i recommend playing the story mode at a difficult level to learn really how to get the crosshairs where u like them. For me, the best thing u can do to make yourself ten times better fast is learn how to use the BR. Once u can beat people in one on one match, then u can branch out to other guns. But like i said, practice in story mode and play in rumble pit. U can steal kills and learn how to hide and sneak around

The BR and Snipper Rifle is my worst weapons. Cant get the aiming right..

play on team snipers online and it helps greatly, i used to suck horribly on the sniper but i started to play just sniping games and it improved greatly.

I have been doing that. I have got better with the snipper, but theres a long way to go..

FOR BR just play some Hardcore! ITs ranked but o well

Or customs. And I agree with gruesome. To get the basics down, Campaign is a good idea.

Yea i am so good b/c me and sue played halo1 coop togather and did all of it even legendary! WE did start on halo2 just never finished!

Gamer helped me out alot at first, but it was to much information to try and remember at one shot. Remeber I hadnt even played on xbox until I got the halo 2

campaign is the easiest but you can not learn without experience against actual players.

Sometimes I think its better that I play you guys that are higher rank, maybe it will make me learn faster

well if u play on legendary, those elites take u out fast so its worth the challange

also try haveing some ppl come over and do a system link game with them!

yea system link is always fun especially with more than 8 players.

Legendary will hone the skills.

The only downside to playing legendary is that fact that the weapon update doesn't affect the single player campaign. Therefore, you'll somewhat be learning on different weapons. It's not as if it matters, seeing as nothing on the single player(shield / health) is as constant as multiplayer anyway. My suggestion for sniping is either the team snipers, OR play a single player on legendary on one of the maps that has the asshole jackal snipers. Those will teach you real fast and in a hurry to keep your head down and when to take the shot. Their heads are also usually smaller targets than the spartans / elites of xbox live, only problem is they don't move the same.

hes right about the update, plus beating down elites in the game is much harder. The sniper alley is in the second and third levels so be ready early on to face them. Does everyone know there is a sword that u can pick up on campagin mode on the second level

Also, find a scroll speed for your weapon that you find comfortable. That helped me, I jumped mine up to 5 and it helps me greatly since I have an advantage and can turn faster in close range fights. It destroyed my score for about a week until I adjusted to the switch but now it's glorious.

one more thing to do .... STUDY THE MAPS >>> KNOW WHERE THE WEAPONS ARE AND FLAGS ARE AS WELL AS ARMING AREA!!!!

I'd suggest putting all your points into mana and going straight down the defensive skills.

If you could hook up a keyboard and mouse you'll be a really good player automatically ;).

I prefer using a controller over a keyboard and mouse. I've played Unreal and other FPS on my PC and I suck at them. I don't hit anything ever. However, I think I can call myself fairly accurate on halo with the Controller.
