Most Anticipated Geme on the PS3.
Definitely MGS4. Though, if Xenosaga EPIII is on it, that is a close second. For me, anyway.
Then again, there is no way I could afford this thing. I ain't got $400. |
It ain't coming out until Spring '06 so there's time for you to save up.
And I can't wait for DMC4, and the new GTA (they've got one in the works, it's just that no-one knows what it is). In fact there are quite a few. I'd like to see whether the Tech Demo of FFVII does turn out to be a game. |

Any future gta game!
|
Well, GTA4 sounds good, but come on!!! Solid Snake! War! Even if Tommy Cercetti himself was the star of the new GTA, he couldn't compare to Solid Snake.
|
I've never played a MGS game in my life.

I'm really going by Games that I've played before (the new ones are sequel type things) or that have really caught my eye. There's a lot to choose from there. |

Actually no, Deadly Aliance's symbol is a Roman Numveral 5 design. And besides, none of those games have specific titles. Look at MGS4. It's called just "Metal Gear Solid 4" not Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. So, MK7 could very easily have a name with the number.
And I totally forgot about the new Tekken. But, fuck the FFVII-remake. REmake is the best remake ever. |

No, Xbox 360 comes out this month. |
haha mortal combat 7 thats funny...
I heard scarface looks promising and mobile suit gundam appeals to me a mecha fan. Madden and Grand Turismo are other must haves. |
Haha, Indiana Jones. This should be interesting.
|
let me know when mortal combat comes out with a single person shoter mode, cause u know they will enventually. They came out with a story game recently, sorta like a Zelda game. I wont play it cause that game scared the crap out of me when i was younger. As for the PS3 games, im def looking foward to the final fantasies and secretly am going ot buy the donkey kong game

I think he got "Donkey Kong" confused with "King Kong", which is on the list of games that Lenny posted.

That's where the new Blu-Ray discs'll come into use. :)
The largest official memory on the disc so far is 100gb. It's rumoured that Sony and a few other companies ar developing a 200GB disc with a scratch-resistant Teflon Coating. Just imagine what you could do with GTA on one of those babys. Takes years to develop, but damn, it'll be worth it. GTA: Europe. Let's all drive to Britain and hunt down Lenny! YAY! :D |
A sequel to the best PS2 game ever made......Zone of The Enders: The Second Runner. ZOE3....omg I would give my soul for it...
|
mgs4, i-8, killzone, heavenly sword and ff12.
|
LOL I hear that Fallout 3 might come out for it when it's done

I don't really know much about HD DVD discs. But I'm pretty sure that at the moment both formats are limited to only 50gb or below. The 100gb and 200gb versions of the Blu-Ray disc are still in development, and I haven't heard anything about a 250gb HD DVD disc.
If you come across an article about it please could you post it? |
I've seen reviews that said the HD DVD was higher quality or something of that matter, but there's gonna be bias everywhere on this battle ...not that there should be a battle although I do like to have a physical copy of my data ...especially stuff I buy,.
|
The problem is that the Blu-Ray hasn't been out long enough, nor used for long enough to be able to end arguments.
With so many companies backing it though, HD DVD are going to have a real struggle to beat it. And also, with so many companies (a lot of electronic companies and the like) backing it, they'll be so many Blu-Ray players and whatnot made over the next few years. I honestly think that Blu-Ray is going to be the next big thing. It went from VHS, to CD-ROM, to DVD-ROM. The interesting thing is that Sony backs many of these developing products, and look where it leaves them! |
I really REALLY hope the product with the least copyright protection wins out ...not that that'll be the case but yea ;). I want free games ;_;. Oh well.
Oh yea, hear about Windows pushing for software licensing(sp?) Paying monthly to use your operating system, etc. Bunch of shit. |
Typical Windows isn't it?
There'll be way around it. If they don't know you've got the OS on your computer then how can they charge you? Take their validation thingy for instance. An easy way to bypass that is to have Windows Automatic Updates permantly off, and don't connect online until you're sure they are. Works for us. Should work for everybody else. And it works because they send a nice little ActiveX component down the line to you that checks the validity of your product. Or you can download a nice little Java Script that fools it. Either way there's a way around it. |
Who knows. They're probably gonna let everyone get around it and sue the hell out of them for 100,000 dollars apiece until MS buys a nice sized country, say Germany, and round THREE BEGINS!

It really will help though, won't it?
Common sense dictates that with 128bit graphics, the data for the games will have to be more to be able to take full advantage of the graphics card. You wouldn't particularly want to play with 128bit graphics, on a HD TV, with graphics that you're so used to seeing on every PS2 game. You'd want the best you can get. And yeah, the possibilities! No more games that only take a weekend of hardcore gaming to complete, but games that take 6 months! Does it not make your mouth water to think of it? :) |
No.
I hate overly long games. I get bored of them. |
The only type of game that should last 6 months is a game that is dynamic and has new content added >_>. MMORPG FTW :D. I start WoW again soon :D.
