Who down for a UO server? Get enough replies and ill start one up.

Oh me, I'm already playing on Redemption, but if we can bring the good old UXO days back I'm so in on this shit. Lol @ sparring with guards.

I have the game but never played it. I'd be down for it O_O

I think Randuin already made this thread. If I remember correctly, a lot of people liked the idea, then he decided not to.

Yea... Let's play on UO:Redemption. It's like pre:R and has a fairly large player base, so we don't have to mess with that in the beginning

Doesn't UO cost money monthly? If so, how much?

Nah... it's no fun without all the bugs. The current UO emulators are too perfect and polished.

I think a better question would be what type of UO server people are down for:

Pre-cast?
Crushing Blow/Piercing Blow/Concussion Blow?
Reg/No-Reg?
700,800,900,1100,36000 skill cap?
250, 300, 500 stat cap?
Trash/Reward Systems?
Custom Crafting/Materials/Weapons?
Level system?

It's a completely different game with different combinations of these things.

I would want... pre-cast, no R, T3D, AOS bullshits, no regs, may be 36000 skill cap? 300 stat cap, done

FFS Randuin Redemption wasnt Pre-R. It was Pre-R based, but they put ALOT of non Pre-R shit in there.

I currently have 2 houses and still working on 7x GM
7x GM is hard to get but for anyone who played back in 97/98 you should know that no one had 7x GM. And if you did you were damn proud of yourself. I encourage you all to check it out. I know SYG would like it.

But I would be up for a shard I guess.

I'd be down. I agree with grav it will suck not having the bugs. Like RA hitting for 10 damage. But hey, its all good.

I played it for a few months a year or so ago. They always seemed to have like... 500-1000 people online at all times. Very little to no lag. Good scripting and plenty of tourneys.

I played rebirth for a bit. I personally didn't really like it. Which did you play?

EDIT: Then again I don't really like the original map. Its played out. Ive been playing on it for a good 8 years =/

Which did I play? I played UOGamers. At least I seem to recall that being the name of the shard.

Then I assume hybrid

UOGamers is the shard setup by the RunUO team. They used it for introducing features to the EMU. Plus since its their shard they have th emost users. Naturally. But they have 4 shards. Rebirth (Pre-T2A / Pre-R) , Hybrid(UOR), Demise(AOS/SE), and Aftermath(Havnt played it yet). Which is quite funny considering AOS and SE was the demise of UO completely. With the release of ren it was getting there =/

UOGamers Hybrid was probably my favorite shard out of the many, many fucking free shards that i played.. would highly recommend it..
