-=Rico-GP=- 2004-12-02 09:11 AM

Take the power supply away and put the case back on. He'll never know.

-=Rico-GP=- 2004-12-02 09:13 AM

GET a sig sov.

dmacfour 2004-12-02 09:59 AM

it wont let me get one

undeadzombieguy 2004-12-02 10:05 AM

What I did was change the voltage of the power supply while the computer was on (little button on the back of the power supply, not on all of them I think), it fried the power supply and mobo. First time I blew it up on purpose, second time it just happened, suddenly smoke started comming out of my pc, my mobo was melting...

dmacfour 2004-12-02 10:07 AM

i will change the voltage and let someone else turn it on so i can't be blamed. He he he

Mantralord 2004-12-02 10:09 AM

I think a good power supply will shut off if it detects the wrong current...

dmacfour 2004-12-02 10:10 AM

my power supply is crap it came out of a compaq

Unplug your computer, take it to wherever your washer/dryer is, plug it directly into the wall and turn it on. Turn your washer/dryer on and off a few times, it should surge and fry your power supply. Happened to my buddy's computer a few times before he found out it was a washing machine/dryer outside of his room causing it. I told him to plug it into a surge protector and he's never had the problem since.

Why, in the name of fuck, would you want to sabotage your dad's computer?

I thought you were Jesus...you're supposed to know about the sins of man given that you sacrificed your life to remove the sins of man...

But you're not Jesus.

He thinks his dad will buy a new better computer if he fries the one he has now.

Jesus wasn't black.

`Insolence` 2004-12-02 08:41 PM

A PSU won't fry your board just by flipping a switch... there's no way in hell.

Maybe 10 years ago before power supplies didn't have detection (or did they...?) but definitely not now. The best way is to just put the shit in a microwave, like Sov suggested magnets, but only if you have scientific grade magnets... it takes a big magnet to fry a HDD.

!King_Amazon! 2004-12-02 08:43 PM

Well the washing machine/dryer outside of my friend's room succeeded in cooking his power supply three times I believe. He had to buy a new one each time.

`Insolence` 2004-12-03 12:22 AM

PSU, if it's a shitty one, maybe.

But definitely not mobo/processor/anything really valuable.

you can bet its shitty. its one of those gay compaq things.

`Insolence` 2004-12-06 04:57 PM

Gay compaq things?

Ok... still won't fry it? Just put parts of it in the microwave/tape metal in there to short circuit it.

Lenny 2004-12-08 10:40 AM

What??? You are crazy.

----------

I might as well answer. Delete all programs --> Start, Settings, Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs --> and get rid of them all.

Then, I don't know. Go into My Computer, and select lots of random files that luck extremely important, and delete them.

Then download lots of viruses, spyware etc. and blame it on your sister. Supposing you have a sister. If not, blame it on anyone in the house that is younger than you, and stupider.

Or just go to it with a sledge hammer. Either way is fun.

!King_Amazon! 2004-12-08 02:24 PM

You could open it up and take out your bios battery thingy.

dmacfour 2004-12-08 03:27 PM

that would just screw up the time

dmacfour 2004-12-08 03:28 PM

i am in luck i do have a sister

`Insolence` 2004-12-08 08:14 PM

Don't double post Woody.

And taking out the battery would not let the computer start at all... on my old PC it went out and it would not properly boot.

Lenny 2004-12-09 09:48 AM

Younger or older?

----------

Do you have...no, wouldn't work.

Buy a cheap ass critical part, even a hdd, from eBay, replace it with the one you have now, fry THAT. He wont know the difference. If he doesn't buy a new pc, you can always replace it with the old one and you'll still have a pc. And if he does, you have an extra hdd to add to your shiny new pc for additional space.
