No, and I don't believe in it either, but I know some people who say they can do it.

Closest thing to something like that was that I once was able to see with my eyes closed. Everything looked like one of those black and white infrared cameras that cops use. I freaked out after like 5 seconds of looking around and opened my eyes though...it was scary. It happened about 2 1/2 years ago. It has never happened again.

Well I'm going to start trying to do it. Only because this guy I've known for years and respect very much - and who happens to think almost exactly like I do - gave me a seven hour explaination last night.. and my head was throbbing just by the implications if this stuff was possible. If I ever manage to do it, then I'm not sure what to think anymore.

I missed that, but, it looks like you were in the first step. When you can see but know your eyes are closed, you have to continue ripping your astral body out of your physical to free it.

But the really brainfucking part is that you can interact with other people in astral if you are both in the the same time. And both remember it when they wake up.

Man, I've heard of everything from talking to god/devil, to talking to aliens. I have an uncle, who I respect a lot, claim that he's haunted, and says that he can do astral projection, or something very similar. He also claims to have talked to his dead grandmother, and a whole bunch of other stuff. I love, and respect him a lot, but I don't believe it man. There's people who claim to be telepathic, telekenetic, and all of this stuff, but you're going to have to show me in a very controlled environment for me to begin believing in anything.

Telekinesis would change everything. I'd have so much fun fucking around with people.

That would corrupt everything though, knowing what people are thinking. Everything would be made known, and would probably ruin anyone's reputation or life. Though it would be pretty nice to know what some people are thinking sometimes...

No, no. I don't want everyone to have that capability, just me, or a select few. Seriously though, knowing exactly what's going through the mind of a girl, or the mind of an enemy would kick ass. Imagine being to foresee everything that happens in a fight before it actually happens. You'd never lose. Same thing to basketball, or any other sport. Think about tests. You don't know an answer, you glance at the person in front of you, and bang. Think about all the knowledge you have now, and multiply that by everyone who's around you. You'd be ungodly.

Well I know that if this astral projection stuff is possible then your uncle might be right, even if he doesn't exactly know what he's seeing. The thing about it is that it's very reality based, so what you're thinking is what it's based on.

Think of it like this. The universe is a collective consciousness. The universe is google, and you're on a computer. You think something, entering a query. You get back information relevant to what you input. So if you think about someone else's house, you can be there, and see it, but not necessarily in real time. So you might be seeing it in the past, or the future, depending. I know it's weird and I'm still somewhat skeptical but I want to try it.

Ahh, if you put it that way, I see what you mean. I would love to know how a girl's mind works, as well as the thoughts of a certain few that I know. And yes, you'd be the most awesome super mega ultra person in the world. You could be perfect.

Well, think about it like this. You live 30,000 days. You dream 5-6 times a night. That's 150,000-180,000 different dreams. This astral projection seems very much like a dream to me. There've been times where I've dreamt exactly what was going on inside my room, but that's because I was half-asleep, and the noise around me was directing my dream. As stupid as that sounds, I'm pretty sure that's what was happening, because every time that has happend I've only been half-asleep and have been able to hear everything. Moreover, it only happens when there's sound in the room. When something's happening in my room.

Now, 6,000,000,000 people now, multiplied by 180,000 dreams per person. There are bound to be times when two people who know each other dream about the same, or simmilar thing. I don't believe it to be anything more than coincidence. You can't explain mass hallucination either, or mass alien abduction, but I'm pretty sure that neither are true. If these people could astral project on command then I'm sure that it would be massively popularized. The fact that it's not leads me to believe that these things don't occur too often, which leads me to conclude that it's nothing more than coincidence. I'm sure if you try to do it for a long time, eventually you'll feel that you've done it. The human mind works like that.

The way you prove that it works is, well, you project into a store or something nearby that you've never been into before.. then you go there the next day and see if it's the place.


Bell's theorem states that atoms, once touching another atom, act as if they are still touching that item, forever. This would tie into the information gathering aspect of astral projection.

When I say hallucination, I mean hoax.

If it works for you, let me know. I still probably won't believe it, until it happens to me, simply because it's so far-fetched. I honestly don't know anything, nor have I heard anything about Bell's theorem, so I can't say. I'm not even sure in which way you mean "touching that item forever."
