Need Summoner Necro Build.
Pretty please. Gear/stat pts/skill pt allocation would be greatly appreciated. I have an idea of what I should use, but I just want to make sure.

Right now im thinking of maxing skeletal masteries, then get mages, and max lower resist. If done right, it should do a lot of dmg... but skeles have no life >_<

Nova would be pointless. Too little dmg, even with lower res. Im thinking of putting rest into revives to use as shields against ww barbs and to tele onto sorcs and have them pk her.

Heh, speaking of summon/bone... i just dueled it with windy... got killed ez... those littles skeles are as strong as noob melees... 10 of them on + bs hurts lol

Sov are you looking for a pure summoner or a hybrid of some sort?
Drac's is a hybrid obviously and probably a better pvp build in the end due to its better versitility at the expense of some better minions... The actual link to his guide is: http://forums.rpgforums.net/showthread.php?t=174269 Its more recent and updated and presents a far better build than what's on his site in pictures especially as far as gear and stats goes. To me the "Napoleon" pictures on his site seems far from what it could be and the point distribution seems off but thankfully he seems to have corrected it in the actual guide at least (or maybe just didn't follow his own advice/built it for something else or testing it). |

Personally I've always had more success with a variant on the bone-build especially in NvN but a good summoner really demands respect especially if they can teleport (just watch out for Rabies though!) |

Anyways, ScamAlot has essentially made a couple changes in Drac's build, substituting poison for bone, mages for bone wall, and deciding to put dex points into more vitality instead. I personally prefer max block just because if I ever teleport onto someone or if for some strange reason someone gets to me I don't want them getting lucky by hitting me once or twice and then I die (along with all my precious hard won minions!) and I'm not convinced the extra 200 life or so is going to make that much of a difference if someone actually is hitting me so I prefer to lessen chances of actually getting hit. Maybe I just suck at using minions but I've always found block to be a good thing and a staple in most guides for a reason unless its supplanted by skills such as the amazon uses (dodge/evade/etc). As far as poison vs bone goes....that debate goes back to a poisonnova vs a bone necro except its only your secondary skill now instead of a primary. While you should have enough points and +skills to make poison decent, if you don't mind using a bug (which you dont if you use poison anyways), if you use marrowalks I think you consider the advantage of the 33 synergy to bone armor and spirit. With the setups Scam and Drac suggest both use essentially 96-97 skill points (level 85 or so with quests I believe) but while posion nova is certainly easier to hit with, if you decide to pump mages instead of a poison synergy, your damage won't be all that great once you factor in the other guy's resistances even with the poison not being reduced in pvp (and the fact some just think poison is cheesy). If you don't pump mages and/or you don't use marrowwalks you have more of a case for poison I think, though the bone prison/wall does synergize with your ever useful bone armor as well if you choose those routes.. Essentially in my opinion you'll need to decide if you want to max skeletal mages (or revives) or place the points in your offensive casting synergy. If you decide the latter then I think you'll want to make a decision regarding poison nova or bone spirit. |
fuck psn dmg, only use 2 lag, the reason to dump rest in it is that teh dmg is a decent bonus and u r have nothing else 2 max anywayz...

juz Bh has to rip thru all the summons before hitting nec and u hav like 20+summons=20+hammers? for elements revive element immunes based on their class only thing u cant be immune is from fireball since it has a blast radius but hotspur+nokozan = ~_~ |
