The flame forum needs a post minimum.
 

Something like 20 posts before you can see it. I'm tired of people just signing up and flaming for no reason... in stupid ways.

Well, the flame forum can't be seen unless your registered... so new members don't know we have a flame forum until they register and scroll down..

But if this was to be implemented, it should be closer to 100. 20 is ez to spam in one day ;).

I'm going to vote no, simply because it's funny to own some of the idiots that crawl in there on their first day. Plus, if they become long-standing members, you can use that one post against them.

I'd say yes. And agreeing with Sov on the 100 post minimum because that new little turd that came in already has ~10 posts in a matter of minutes.

It's not amusing unless anyone cares, and I sure don't. It's just extra annoyance. 50-100 sounds about right though.

If they're idiots and post it in the flame forum, it can always easily be moved.

I say no because there have been times in the past where BH or F4$ would come here, make a new name, and make things much more interesting in there than now. Sure, it hasn't happened in a while, but I don't want to prevent it either. Its just not a big enough of a deal for a limit to be placed on.

How exactly does this make it like Nazi Germany? It doesn't affect you one bit. It simply ensures others are more familiar with Zelaron before being able to make threads that could, and have many times in the past, turn members away before they even start..

I remember when the flame forum was a place where I could go and have a laugh.......now you need to write a 3 page thread-flame in order for it to be taken seriously and not trashcanned

Heh, actually long flames don't even get read, nor are they really written anymore, which is why the FF sucks.. No one even trys to be funny anymore, they actually get mad and lose all wit.. :(

Again, WW, I don't see that restriction as being necessary. Don't bar members from being morons. Let them act like idiots and then shame them into bettering their behavior. Post limits are preventative tactics, while I personally think the staff of an online forum should be more reactionary in nature.
