dreams

post your dreams here.

i always have some reoccuring dream in which i am killing all of my friends. i don't know, but post anyway.

Mr.Lee 2002-05-13 11:42 AM

often dreaming about the girl i love :p

and sometimes i dream all the weirdest thing...
cant remember them...

Sponki 2002-05-13 11:50 AM

I don't dream much anymore (well people allways dream, but sometimes can't remember)
But when I was younger I had this scary dream about a wolf running around outside, and I had to hide inside the house...
And also something about a big dog, and every night I tried to escape it but I found me anyway.

btw I could wake myself when I was dreaming something scary (no one believes it :( )

Penguin 2002-05-13 12:28 PM

i can wake myself from a dream, but i never have dreams anymore, there was like once or twice that i Realized it was a dream and could control it, even control waking up =p

no... you ARE dreaming... everyone does, u just cant
remember them sometimes for a odd reason

Wiccan][V][asta 2002-05-13 01:24 PM

You usually remember a dream if you're awoken during it happening believe it or not. If you're good at dreaming, you can achive lucid dreams as mentioned by Penguin. If you're really good at it (I am, Wiccans pratice that sort of thing) you can use it to "surf" the astral plains. www.spellsandmagic.com go there and look at dream recall...

RoboticSilence 2002-05-13 01:53 PM

"There is one other thing to consider. If you are having intense dreams and they are in color then more than likely you are having a OBE. Out-body-experience or otherwise known as Astral Projection."

All of my dreams are in color.

Xenn 2002-05-13 02:06 PM

I had a dream where I killed demi.. too much UT.

Wiccan][V][asta 2002-05-13 02:13 PM

The majority of dreams are in colour, because we constantly sway. Our energies go off on their own at night unless we can controll them. If you are semi good at it like me, you will be able to escape bad dreams, or bad energies that lurk on the lower astral plains. If you can control where you go, go up high. If you get scared, think of your concious body, and you will return there instantly. :)

RoboticSilence 2002-05-13 02:25 PM

I never have bad dreams... it may seem like a bad dream... then I pull out the M4... :)

tacoX 2002-05-14 05:42 AM

One of the more freaky dreams that I had awhile ago and I still remember it was when i was in my room and I like saw an alien in my room, sitting down, then I ran outside of my room to my parents room and then went to bed. Minutes later I had a dream nearly the same but it was in my moms room, and I ran away and started crying (I was like in 2nd grade). Possibly one dream was real? hmmm.

Chruser 2002-05-14 07:41 AM

I've had a countless amount of strange dreams in my life, so many that I couldn't possibly list them all. I'm pretty much of an expert in the area too, so feel free to ask me if you think your dream might mean something important.

Chruser 2002-05-14 07:42 AM

Oh, did I mention I can control my dreams, and simply dream about anything I would like to? And I do mean anything, plus that it seems so realistic :)

Boomerang 2002-05-14 11:02 AM

that would be cool crusher. what does it mean when you always fall out of planes, or fall off of buildings and stuff.

mightychicken 2002-05-14 08:19 PM

i dream i'm having sex with this girl i know about twice a week. That's usually not the whole dream though, they're always emotional roller-coasters. She even dies occasionally. Ive also been in a war, fought Rodan (from godzilla), and drowned trying to save somebody.

RoboticSilence 2002-05-14 08:22 PM

Rodan! I fought him in a dream once... but through the entire dream I was in a big rubber Godzilla suit that I couldn't get out of.

mightychicken 2002-05-14 08:23 PM

lol

What did you dream after seeing Jurassic Park? I had one of those super-realistic dreams where you can feel pain and textures... and I got torn in two by a T-Rex and eaten... it really sucked... now I bet getting torn in half won't hurt so much next time... desensitized.

mightychicken 2002-05-14 08:26 PM

it'd be nice if he was actually right about that.

RoboticSilence 2002-05-14 08:26 PM

About being desensitzed due to a dream?

mightychicken 2002-05-14 08:28 PM

no, about dream control.

RoboticSilence 2002-05-14 08:28 PM

It happens... my friend, Alex can do it too... he's like... "Hot chick... *poof* hot chick... *poof*"

In my dreams I only control myself... everything around be acts as though it would act in real life... I've even dreamed things and then they happen exactly that way a few weeks/days later.. weird, huh? One time I dreamed I was just chatting with friends on AIM and I was typing something and made typos mid-way and corrected them... then later that week the same thing happened... I thought it was just some sort of thing that happened BECAUSE it was in the dream... but I noticed the conversation and sentences EVERYONE ELSE wrote... were EXACTLY the same.

mightychicken 2002-05-14 08:37 PM

you can't control your dreams without outside assistance. Plain and simple.

RoboticSilence 2002-05-14 08:39 PM

The way you control your dreams is that you aren't entirely asleep... one part of your brain is still voluntarily used... it's just a gift.

mightychicken 2002-05-14 08:43 PM

nope. i've seen the research. People being mistaken into thinking they can directly control their dreams is a result of A) the fact that dreams are usually associated with things we normally do, so people assume that they're "causing" this, and B)dreams can be modified by auditory interference, such as an alarm clock, which will become a part of your dream if it doesnt wake you up. Also, the reason people think they can "wake themselves up" from dreams is that every single time you will wake up at the climax of your dream. Your blood pressure spikes, waking you up. This guy you speak of obviously thinks that he has some kind of talent that allows him to.

RoboticSilence 2002-05-14 08:51 PM

You may be able to set what might happen in your dream before hand by watching a movie, etc. but there's still odds that it won't happen. Like the Jurassic Park thing... or watching porn before you sleep.

Xenn 2002-05-14 09:18 PM

Yeah you ever get that feeling (when awake) where you just KNOW it's happened before, like in a dream?

RoboticSilence 2002-05-14 09:19 PM

And it had... I watched it both in my head happening and where it was happening... it HAD happened before.

RoboticSilence 2002-05-14 09:20 PM

But sometimes I have dreams where one part of it happens but I realize it is just like the dream and do something differently... and the outcome changes.

Boomerang 2002-05-15 10:52 AM

i see what you are saying roboticsilence. and i have to say that i believe you. but, can anyone here interpret dreams. i have a few i would like ot say.

tacoX 2002-05-15 04:16 PM

LOL, Mighty chick dreams about sex, I sure wish I could, but I get all the happyness juice out of my system way too damn fast!

ps. Dont do shrooms you freaks ;)

JohnnyTAE 2002-05-15 04:35 PM

Man I have had the craziest dreams a lot of dreams that seem to have more meaning (if you know what I mean) and I always have those deja vu dreams that are exact replica's of what happens in my life in the future and some crazy ass dreams that I will have to talk to wiccan about sometime...

HLomegasin 2002-05-30 08:34 AM

I dreamt that I had sex with Natalie Portman, it was wicked

BlueCube 2002-06-05 12:06 PM

Hmm... I personally CAN control my dreams, like flying around to specific places, blowing things up, etc. It depends on how I fall asleep though.. if I daydream and fall asleep while doing it, the control carries through all night. Though, if I don't do that, I have odd dreams (like last night, saving a bunch of hamsters from being eaten by a monster of some type.. odd to say the least. Usually a combination of what happened during the day.) I should also mention the "Falling Dream", where I jump of a cliff above a sandy beach of some sort, and wake up before I hit the ground...

JRwakebord 2002-06-05 08:36 PM

i had that dream once. it turned out i was falling off my bed. i woke up and STILL hit the ground

Chruser 2002-06-06 12:51 AM

I can dream whatever I like, and it all seems realistic. I've learnt how to control my dreams perfectly.

RoboticSilence 2002-06-06 01:29 AM

I have a lot of dreams that don't seem like dreams... not in the way of "They are so realistic" but in the way that they are entirely average. I once had a dream where the entire time I was just walking around New York Cuty talking to my friend, Brian, about normal stuff that we talk about while walking in gym. And one where it was a day of school... it was normal and sucked up until I got some powers or something and ran around blowing shit up and tearing people apart... another odd one.

BlueCube 2002-06-06 10:44 AM

School's a major place for some dreams, oddly enough... sometimes, I'll be in a dream where I walk into the basement of my house, and I'm suddenly in a room in school... and I don't even think that it's out of place or anything.
