The forum I'm spotlighting in this thread is one that I have been a marginal member of for about a year and a half. I used to be the equivalent of a Supreme Moderator there, and for my three or four months modding the forum, it was actually pretty damned good. I ended up quitting the position due to time constraints dealing with work and school, and plus, the forum actually swithced from YaBB, to XMB, to EZBoards and then to VBulletin all in the span of about a month. It was extremely disorienting, and I lost my appetite for the place.

Since their final move to VBulletin, I've been an occasional presence on the board, but for the most part, I can't stand the place. The link I'm about to provide you is precisely why. I didn't know about this kind of crap, but I always suspected that something of this sort was going on anyway:

The shit doesn't really begin to hit the fan until Kaotic's (head admin) first post in the thread, hence the reason I'm giving you the link to the second page. King Mastermind is essentially Legacy Nexus' equivalent of WetWired, only where WetWired is extremely responsible and cool-headed, King Mastermind is a whining little pissant with a Napoleon complex.

I'm showing this to everyone here so that you all can come to realize just how fucking good Zelaron has it.

If I see even so much as one little sissy-ass, moron whiner complaining about the job that the staff of Zelaron does, I'll personally punt your spine through the top of your skull. You don't even know how good you people have it to have guys like Chruser, WetWired, Titus, Penguin, Adrenachrome, Jamesadin, Ex-Mania, Sovereign, and all of the moderators and news posters copntributing to the state of this forum. Be thankful that you don't have to deal with tyrannical bullshit from guys like King Mastermind and his fucking "Legion of Sarcastic Cynics".

Be thankful that you have the unadulterated right to say whatever the fuck you want about another member (as long as it's in the Flame Forum) without having to deal with being admonished by the staff for using the word "idiot" to describe the person.

And most importantly, be thankful that the staff is honest and upfront with their opinions and intentions. If you're being a nuisance, they'll let you know. They won't hold secret meetings and conspire against you without notifying you of your asinine behavior. That doesn't mean they won't ban your ass, but they'll at least let you know it's coming before it happens.

One way or another, I've had it with all the complaining. Learn to appreciate what you have, and quit your goddamned whining, because you've all got it pretty fucking good.

Yes, very nice and interesting post. I've actually not even really paid much attention to the inane ramblings/complaints of the newest members that have contributed nothing more than aneurysms from their posting styles and intentions.

Hopefully, this will shed some light on things and get people to relax a little and get back to good, contributing posts once again.

You're making Zelaron sound like some 3rd world country where the government controls everything, it's an internet forum. It's not that big of a deal. Who gives a shit if people don't like Zel; they can leave. If they keep complaining, just ignore them. Honestly, I think people complain for attention.

yea, at one forum, i got banned in less then a week for no reason, will i was trying to get them to unban a friend, but i did it nicely. well, my sig had 5 quotes saying he should be unbanned, my title said he should be unbanned and i sent the owner a message saying he should be unbanned and my first post said he should be unbanned.

i did it in a nice manner though and they didn't say why.

Yeah I have looked at many other forums similar to zelaron and they all suck compared to zela. Most of them have Admins/Mods that are totally unfair and are little 9yearolds who have no respect for decency... It is amazing that zelaron actually has a well established batch of rulers that dont over criticize and are in general very leanent.
