I'm not putting these in order, as it could nearly be blasphemous.

The Sklar Brothers: Download their Chopper 4 bit. You will not regret it.

Lewis Black: Download his 2002 Comedy Central stand up bit. I prefer the first one, but both are worth downloading.

Jeff Foxworthy: Don't be scared because of the Redneck jokes... I'm not a huge fan of them either. Read the book, No Shirt, No Shoes, No Problem. It's really top notch comedy.

That's all I have for now. Please post other reccomendations, and please, only good comedians... I don't want to make a mockery of the internet downloading crappy humor.

I really havent seen much of stand up comedy, but in the movies I would say that funniest person is Jim Carrey.

Oh, now that I think about, Robin Williams is pretty funny in standup, regardless that he sweats like a pig in an over wrapped in a fur coat wrapped in aluminum foil...

See, I'm not that big of a fan of Robin Williams stand up... It's just not as funny as other things I can compare it to.

Also, I wasn't really looking for movies. I appreciate the input, but, unless the movie is of comedic value such as Monty Python and the Holy Grail, it really should not be included in a thread about comedians.

Oh, Dane Cook is really a hilarious comedian too. You guys have to see him live to get the full effect, but I'm sure anything you find on him will be hilarious.

George Carlin, Denis Leary (No Cure For Cancer wasn't funny. Lock And Load was hysterical), Eddie Izzard, Jeremy Hotz, Dave Attell, Dane Cook, Stephen Lynch, Greg Fitzsimmons and The Amazing Jonathan.

Those two are friggin hilarious. I also like Gallagher, and Dana Carvey can be funny sometimes. Oh, and for shits and giggles, the guys on Sportscenter ALWAYS give me a chuckle.

Honestly, I think Dave Attell is quite possibly the funniest human being in the world. His humor is so fucked up, and his jokes just come out of nowhere. Dave Attell, I salute you!

i also watched Jamie Foxx: I Might Need Security (2001) very funny stuff,
chris rock, well his first ones really suck (i thought a girl was talking, it was actually him!!!!!!!) the newer ones was ok
