Delirium has a 1% chance to turn you into a monster that attacked you. Delirium is just for kicks-- as once you're turned into that monster, your attack abilities are severely limited. Im not sure since i've yet to play tcp/ip games with it, but i've heard speculations that it might be client side only, meaning only you see yourself turned into a monster -- you're DELIRIOUS!! i guess this item exists to humor the easily amused... it'll keep alotta people talking for awhile



Diablo clone is not a player, it's just another boss with special purposes(opportunity for players to get annhilius), and they decided to use Diablo's animations for that boss.

They also made weapons pretty strong as well. So probably its still balanced out i guess. Even the mods on weapons pretty good.

My level 73 baba turned into that (S. Doll) as well when I was fighting the Overseer. Maybe it has something to do with class/level? Or totally random?

The monsters are hella hard in 1.10...i died 17 times against duriel lol

yeah seriously, i died to durial 15 time or so, and i was a level 18 pally with ok gear, outrageous, i don't remember it being that tough in 1.09

It's best to just let him come up and keep hitting you, since his jab attacks suck, and his charge attack hurts.

He can smite and then charge, though.

I usually stand against a wall so the smite attack won't push me back.

Ididn't die on Duriel but i was close to do that several times. I think it's the hardest monster to beat at the level u have.

even in .9 duri in hell seems to be harder then baal... i duno why...

Hell Duriel was impossible for me in HC back when I used Dial-up...

The question is, could you actually turn into Mephisto? All the others have only turned into Stygian Dolls.
