Starcraft Is losing its popularity.

I mean there isn't anything special about it anymore, back in the day with diablo it was the sh## but now It sucks, Nobody plays anymore because of the ladder abuse, maphacks, the only good thing about it is UMS, Why do you think they keep mentioning Sc2 Ghost, because sc is losing momentum.

I have to agree, I thought I was a diablo/starcraft die-hard fan.

I stopped playing diablo months ago, Starcraft is starting to get boring too.

It gets boring, find a clan... ums is GAY now, I always seem to win, since no one good plays public anymore, and when I do win, someone insults me and will not go to meele to 'solve the problem' as I like to put it.

Find a good clan, learn to play, get good, theres nothing better than feeling you improved your game immensely, everyone can get better.

It is true that Starcraft is getting boring also diablo2 for me. But really starcraft doesnt suck its just that it gets boring and old.

The new 1.10 bugs screwed starcraft into the ground.

floating drones, about 100 ways to crash the game, replay fucker, etc.

I see, I've been watching reps of people, and sometimes it does stuff I'd never think was possible, like jsut stop moving and get 10k minerals and its over.. Is that the replay fucker?

No, the replay fucker is when you can't save the replay.

Why do people even still play SC? Why not buy warcraft 3 reminds me of sc but way better.

wc3 is stupid, i dont like it...

almost all of the sc community hates wc3, i only know of 1 serious gamer who plays both, and hes gosu in all 3 (bw, wc3, tft :))

wc3 suxks. i had it and gave the key away... it realy did suck. but ya SC has been losing its ground hold on RTS games yet that means if no1 new is starting to play it just leaves the diehard players and gosu players right? so if ur in a clan (which ive noticed on east there are very few left of) then u just go and recruit hehe. but ya UMS is the best, if ur really looking for people to play wit find the people that are on at 3am-7am and those are the good people.

I like Sc better than Wc3.

No, sc is NOT losing its popularity, NO there are not fewer clans, I suppose its mostly just decent people left. /who clan x17 /who clan 30dom its fine people. I meet new gamers alot, this game is the most perfectly balanced game of ALL TIME! No race is stronger than the other, no race is weaker than the other, there are all things we can do to counter/evade an attack.

Korean gamers are alot better than US gamers, wanna know why? In Korea, broodwar is a sport...it has its own tv channel, they have brood war cafes there. I wouldn't be suprised if high schools had brood war teams, much like ours have chess clubs and such.

Its a national sport, people get in fights over whos better in Starcraft. It's much more important to them than it is to people over here. Think about it, we own every other country in Football, because it's so popular here, and they own everyone in SC because its so popular there.

YES. Starcraft 2. they have left so many unanswered in the Expansion. when it comes out, it will be pretty neat it see in all 3D. or not, whatever.

That doesnt really matter to me, although blizzard has the BEST cinematic scenes of any game ever.

All i want, are new races, maybe the ability to give other people money, more people in a game for a better lan expirience, seeing as how everyone is getting broadband/amazing gfx cards anyway

They've hinted at a zerg/protoss mix race, which should be awsome, and make sense to the story too.

If you remember, in the secret zerg level they found zerg and protoss things in the cells together.

Duran did not nessisary created the new race... if I remember the level correctly, I think that the Zerg and Protoss was created out of the characteristics of the hybird... kinda like how Humans were created out of the image of God.

Well i was kidding lol, i just thought thas what would happen.

I didn't pay much attention to any of the story line, frankly that stuff was way to easy. Broodwar AI is damn retarded, 1v7c is very easy, just play with their weakness.. a wall.

Even then without a wall i own them 1v3 on lt -.-

I can 1v7 computers without a wall on FFA.

Well its alot harder on meele, because they ALL attack you, but on FFA they attack eachother.. you might get 1 or 2 attacks, which is mindlessly easy to handle (40 zlots from 2 comps < a few spider mines)

Actually I usually get attacked by 3-4 computers, and strangely enough they don't attack each other while coming into my base.

I don't play money maps. Can't stand them.

Indeed, but it is fun playing them ONCE in a while.. playing vs serious ppl gets boring, owning a few newbs is fun every so often ^_^

I suck on money maps simply because I'm use to expanding and everything, and normal strategies don't work on money maps too well.

Most people just mass cannons anyway.

I love seeing money map people play on no money, its actually kinda interesting, because I have seen a few people become decent after playing money maps for their entire sc careers... my 9 year old brother is pretty good, and he plays money, hes good for 9 I mean.

Melee really isn't my thing, I'm all about UMS.

But I do play melee, don't get me wrong. My interest in making and playing UMS maps is a lot stronger though.

I respect that, although, usually ums ppl usually suck all around, but I doubt that you do, Meele does get boring real fast.

I can hold my own in melee against average players.
