Because Diablo 2 is set to default as USWest, and when they try to go to Asian realms, their squinty eyes cant read the white on black background text.

I think the def was 999 at night, I remember one of the stats(or more) had that "Increased at night" or whatever, and yes Zagggon it was on closed, and it wasn't "these days" it was back then... Long long time ago.
