The Most Shocking Gaming Moment
 

When you were playing a game and then (POW) Damn! What the fuck was that? Something like that. Shocking, depressing, horrifying, etc. Mine was Aeris dying. SHOCKING! Never saw it coming. Not really upsetting, but it still surprised the hell out of me. So what are yours?

It wasn't that sad. It was pretty cool. The way Sephiroth came flying down...

When I found out that you play as Raiden in MGS2.

I don't remember, but it was in FF7.

Not when Aeris died, cause some ass told me that was gonna happen.

Either that or when you get sucked into the lifestream and learn what the fuck is going on. Oh, and the first time Ultimate Weapon attacked me, I knew he was going to, but I thought it was later in the game, so I was like "Oh fuck" and almost shit myself.

Its not anger. I'm just saying that all his shocking moments were in FF7. I mean, Aeris dying was the only thing that shocked me in FF7.

I knew somebody was going to say "Sephiroth murdering Aeris" within the first three posts. Am I alone in this, or was it totally obvious that it was going to happen? I saw it coming a mile away.

My most shocking moment would have to be the end of Soul Reaver 2.

The final battle between Raziel and himself as the leader of the Sarafan just completely came out of left field. I was completely dumbfounded when I came to the realization that Raziel killed himself as a human almost a millennium before his reincarnation as a vampire. So badass.

Well when I read the name of the thread I instantly thought of when Sephiroth killed Aeris.

The point in Xenogears when Grahf finally reveals who he is. I knew he had to be one of two people. It was even weirder when he happened to be both.

Someone told me if you're mean ass hell to tifa and nice to aeris, tifa pushes aeris out of the way and dies instead, I tried it on the english version, that might be what you're talking about.

The 1/100th scale soldiers do nothing.

...On a side quest in SWD3, the boss did an attack which dealt 4k damage to all my characters while they only have 3000-4100 hp...

I just had another shocking moment. My friend invited me over to play his Xbox. He convinced me to play Outlaw Golf. GO SUMMER:) :) :) :) :) :)

The most shocking moment for me:
The discovery that the main villain in Resident Evil: Code Veronica was a crossdresser.

I've been trying to find a copy of that game.

Part 2 had its share of surprises, though. I still don't understant why Joey turns evil, but can become good in the end still. To me it doesn't make sense.
