They haven't released much info about it, but there's evidence that they may charge to play this over Battle.net.

I hope WoS never happens. The Starcraft universe just doesn't appeal to me as being very MMO friendly.

It'd take a lot more detailed story regarding the worlds, societies, and technology to make it approachable for an MMO.

Blizzard releases "when it's done", so it could be this year, or it could be 8 years later like with WC3.
