It is easy, just get LW, and start looking at http://members.shaw.ca/lightwavetutorials/Main_Menu.htm and go from the basics, ask questions, etc. I been useing LW for a week now :P

That all depends, they could have nothing do with it, but they do as we all know that we use them in LW :)

Ahh, why not.. it is a great program to use. I dont know Maya yet to say much for it. Not saying I know LW really either :P

well if you were in real 3d production you'd know why we won't want to talk about it! :D i dunno i just don't like it... but i have to admit that LW is actually used alot in real 3d production (not movies tho... stupid custom packages :D)

Knowing how to use LW, Maya, XSI, 3Dsmax is helpful to learn those custom packages quicker.

yup but some times they mess with the layout and the features so much it's not funny :D i wonder what pixar call bevel :D

They wont, eh? I always have high standards. They are cool and all but I still rather do D&D and LOTR movies.

lol i'd rather do things like shrek and monsters inc.. mainly because i've always loved comic and i love having a good laugh while working :)

Yeah, their workspace is great. I want to join them, but I still have my pasion for D&D effects.
