On another note, once we do this, those new members coming from the forums will be able to see forums like this one and the enforcer thread. Perhaps we can get WW to make them invisible to all the new members that will come in.

Eh... I disagree. That is if what you are after is a true forum war.

A true forum war should be completely exhaustive and debilitating. Each side should be battered, torn and worn, completely sick and tired of doing battle. They should be so war-weary that cookies get deleted and bookmarks removed just to allow for some time to recover.

A true forum war should serve as a warning to future generations of forum goers. Such an epic event should only occur every few years, at most. To engage more frequently cheapens the spoils of victory.

Zelaron's Forum War!
Yes, this is an initiative that was derived from nothing more than boredom. There is no actual purpose to causing a war other than to generate more member involvement and activity from other forums. It will be fun to change things up a bit, and take on different people. There are a few things we are going to need accomplish in order to make this go our way, and go efficiently.

Infiltration
The easiest way to infiltrate a forum is not to go all in at once, you need to be stealthy about your actions. When we invade said forum, we need to do so at a slow pace. Within a week from now I hope that we will have 5-6 members registered over there, and any additional members that wish to participate in the following days/weeks.

When said members are registered and start taking part in normal discussions, please refrain from any negativity at first, and always be polite and act like a normal noob that is just interested in what said forum's topics may be. It will be much easier to avoid a possible early ban.

Registration
It has not been discussed yet, but I think it would be fun to just keep our same names we have on Zelaron, it will make things easy to identify for fellow members, and when it's time to strike there won't be much confusion. We could change things up a bit, but I think that would only add to confusion.

I agree with keeping our names. Just make sure everyone knows to that we do not know each other. We are each a separate noob with no knowledge of Zelaron at this point.
When you have become a normal member (we will discuss on Zelaron when to strike and what a normal member is) you will need to put your Signature on the other forum and have it hyperlink to Zelaron.com. (Thanks to SYG and any Enforcers taking place in this little game can just go ahead and use the same signatures and have them link to Zelaron.com

Depending on what the forum is that we attack, I am going to make sigs that go against what that forum is about, ie anti-nintendo sigs or anti-christian sigs.

The Attack

There are a few ways we can go about the actual attack (starting the war). I say we need to try and avoid being banned and shunned away, being that we would all have to start using proxy servers to connect to their forums and that will make things a bit more complicated and slow our process down.

My suggestion, once we have started to get to know the regulars on the the target forum, each one of us will be assigned a target member that we will start heckling, and constantly arguing with.

We then start throwing in random links to Zelaron in our post like this. And of course by this point we will have our signatures on that link to Zelaron.
