woulda coulda shoulda.. if this, if that..
The overall series between the two teams is in favor of the Colts, 10-3. Yeah, that's some pretty serious Jaguars domination. |

How is a 3-10 record dominant???

You didn't quote it, but you implied it. Quite clearly too.
Thanatos made a joke that the Colts leading the series 10-3 was dominating for the Jags, and you said, "For being a team that was only 3-4 years old at the time, yeah that's dominant IMO." So, basically you just wrote, "For being a team that was only 3-4 years old at the time, 3-10 against the Colts is dominant IMO." POWN? Thanatos FTW. Either way, the NFL goes in cycles. Thanatos, you are going to be in for a VERY rude awakening once the Colts dominating era is over. You may think that will never happen, but it will. You're too young to really appreciate the times when the Colts didn't kick ass, which will make this cycle even harder to swallow. Trust me, I know. I followed the Eagles in the early 90's when we FUCKING BLEW, but I wasn't a die hard like I am now. I basically have only known glory as far as the Eagles are concerned, so since we went to the SB 3 years ago, the years have been tough, and this year is no different. I'm looking forward to a change though, because until that happens, we are going to continue on a bottom part of the wave. |
Haha, that's basically what I was thinking, you just put it more eloquently. Good stuff.
No, I perfectly understand the Colts dominance is going to come to an end. Maybe in the next couple of years, even. And, I followed the Colts when they completely sucked ass back in the late 90's. Seriously, we were horrible. Manning's rookie year? Laughable. So I'm not just accustomed to seeing the Colts win every game, although I do expect it now. I just thought that this was an interesting stat: The Colts, according to the Indy Star, have led or shared the lead in the AFC South for 90 of the 97 weeks since the division was formed in 2002. =) I'm a Colts fan through and through. No bandwagonning here. |
That's good to hear, even with that very questionable "refferring" in yesterday's game, we still managed to give you guys a run for your money...
|
The refs were fucking up on both sides of the field. Not just in favor of the Colts. Good game, though.
We pretty much clinched the division with that win! Hell yeah. See ya next year Jags. |
More like see you in the Playoffs.... Both teams we're banged up, and the REFs seriosuly did call a bunch of crock-shit calls. I had a friend going to the game said he could hear whistles going off in the crowd, I guess you guys allow people to bring them into the stadium, the penalties against the Jaguars we're very uncharacteristic.. but none-the-less, very great game, should've been Prime-time IMO, Sunday night game. But anyways, we may get to see it again on NFL Replay tonight, actually...
Crowd noise FTL. |
I seriously doubt a bunch of fans brought whistles in. If that was the case, Security would have removed them.
How many false starts did you guys have that game? 5? 6? You should expect to hear some loud ass fans in that stadium. Should be used to it by now. |
Uh, I think 3-4 false starts..
I mean, all-in-all the Jaguars really did dominate a good portion of the game, David Garrard played EXCELLENT.. he completed something like 85% of his passes, and had 2 TD.. 119 passer rating. Oh well... Depending on our upcoming games, we may see you guys in the future.. |
Pats are going to dominate tonite.
Jags 3-10 is not dominating at all. You suck. |
Make that 3-11 now hahahaha.
Sorry. Had to. :) |
That past argument wasn't even legitmate, we we're arguing about two different things. I never implied the Jaguars we're dominant in the over-all record over the Colts, just that one game, Jesus. Going off statistics it's simple to see, the Jaguars are going through a transition, it's been a long time since we've been a good time, and most of that 3-10 was during our rebuilding years where we got rid of an entire staff, new head coach, etc. Now that we've got our feet on the ground again we're going back on the upward turn.
|
Going back on the upward turn by losing both games to the Colts this year? Hehe. :)

Uguhah, you're not getting what i'm saying, let me brake it down a bit for you. The Jaguars back in '98 and '99 we're completely dominant throughout their season, and no this has nothing to do with the colts. Their decline started in '00 and got to a low point during '04. The upward swing was the Del Rio Era til present, our defense had a significant turnaround as well as the offense, and now recently with the removal of Leftwich and addition of Mojo things are in the "upward" motion. Sorry it was too complicated for you before. None-the-less, colts FTL, play in a neutral stadium with referrees that aren't receiving payments and we've got a ballgame. |
First of all, I was just giving you a hard time. Notice the smiley?
Secondly, quit living in the past. This is '07 - '08 not '98 - '99. Get over it. Lastly, "Play in a neutral stadium"... ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Who fucking does that besides the Superbowl? We already beat you guys in a HOSTILE stadium in Jacksonville. I understand you don't like the Colts, but your excuses now are getting ridiculous. |

Hah! And i'm just giving you a hard time too, notice the big black guy? |
You are racist!
