I'm so confused on the NSFW forum. Are you going to be moving anything that's 18+ related (*and make language more strict in NSFW forums?*) .. Or is it just going be more of a pr0n forum?

The NSFW forum is currently supposed to be porn free, but I think the intentions are eventually we'll be turning it into a porn forum, with different sections for different things. The rules outside of the NSFW forum will not change, you can still say "fuck" outside of the NSFW forum, you can still post anything that you could before the NSFW forum came, it will not change the rules at all.
The rules INSIDE the NSFW forum have yet to be decided so for now you have to abide by Zelaron's normal rules, which pretty much means the NSFW forum serves now purpose for the time being. That's why you have to give your input and suggest things and such. |

I'll refrain in case anyone doesn't want to be mentioned. I can say that we have ~10 members right now, and we're about ready to get the ball rolling once we decide on the rules. Having the same rules in the NSFW forum as the rest of the forums right now doesn't really promote any activity in the NSFW forum.
However, I URGE people to go into the NSFW forum and post their suggestions for subforums, content, rules, etc. It will speed up the process of getting the forum going and will hopefully spark new ideas that nobody had thought of yet. |
I've got a suggestion, have a Death forum where people can toss up Faces of Death videos/pictures. I know we have a lot of fucked up individuals on these forums :killgrin:

Fine by me, though I'm not sure if those are even legal. If it's legal, there should be no problem with it (as far as I'm concerned anyway.) I do think we want to and have to keep things legal though.
Pretty much I want the NSFW forum to be open to everything that isn't allowed normally here at Zelaron, be it porn or whatever. As long as it's legal(or illegal, if Chruser/WW don't care,) I think it should be allowed. |
Would this include Drug talks along with Bit Torrett discussions?

Drug talk and Bit Torrent discussion is allowed in the normal forums as long as it doesn't reach the illegal level. If we decide illegal stuff will be allowed in the NSFW forum, I'm sure unlimited Drug talk and Bit Torrent discussion would be allowed. It really just depends on what rules we decide on.

Legal drug discussion is already allowed in the main forum.
Also, NSFW doesn't have to mean porn. That could be a subforum; you could designate different restrictions on different parts. We're leaving it up to the members to figure out what they want. But if noone but KA shows interest in the NSFW forum, it won't go anywhere. |
Well at the current, there's no interest in the NSFW forum because there's nothing different about it. We need to establish some sort of limits. This all comes down to, what would Chruser and WW allow? What is the absolute most you would allow?

Well, having a NSFW would mean to have an area for stuff that isn't allowed in here now. That would mean you'd have to start enforcing the rules again? I don't really know of anything that isn't allowed except for the obvious.

Lots of things aren't currently allowed.
I mean, we don't enforce "no spamming" rules and stuff like that all of the time right now, and that wouldn't really change because of the NSFW forum. The things that WOULD change are things like "no posting porn" and stuff like that that isn't allowed because of people who either don't want to see it or are not of legal age to see it. |

Generally I've been working on recruiting people for the forum while the rules are being decided. No point in having rules if there's nobody to follow them, and at this point there's no point in having the people we have to follow the rules if there are no rules to follow.
That makes sense somehow, I think. |
No, right now everything is stalling over people needing to make suggestions about what they want so that when Chruser does get arround to it, it'll be easier to sort out.

Eh, I've been trying to get people to post suggestions. The last post in the NSFW forum was by me and that was like 5 days ago. I think we really need to know what the limits are before we can seriously decide what we want.
For instance, a lot of this is hanging on whether or not legal or illegal things will be against the rules or not. There's no point in suggesting a bunch of illegal stuff if we don't even know if illegal stuff will be allowed. I would have thought that part would be up to you, since I think you're the one who handles the hosting and stuff, and generally it's the host that requires content to be legal and such. |
It's easier to request and approve/deny, than to have one person try to think of everything by themself.

It's also easier to have one person give a blanket "no" statement to certain things and make most of those decisions for us in an instant than have a bunch of people make potentially pointless suggestions.

Be sure that you've got cookies enabled, as it's dependant on cookies being enabled.
Also, make sure you clicked the right link. There are two different links, one to make it appear, and one to make it not appear. Also, after you're able to see it, if you clear your cookies, or if you click the log out link(which clears your cookies,) you won't be able to see it anymore. Perhaps you should try logging out, logging back in, and clicking the link again. You're an approved member, as far as the group goes. |
