I use a lazer mouse, no mouse pad. My wrist never hurts

My optical mouse has no problems on the desk, mousepads are a waste of money in my opinion.

Right, I have an optical mouse with a gel filled cushion for my wrist, and I also have a gel filled thingy for my keyboard.

So? It's not about quantity, it's about quality. Even when I only had like 300 posts, I had as much community recognition as those who had spammed their way to 1000. If I was truly interested in my post count, I could easily have 2500 posts now, but as I've stated elsewhere, arround 200, post count stops mattering as much. And this is not just because of my staff position. Ask the people at the INA. The last time I mentioned my post count there was at 100 or 200. (And I have just under 1K there)
