The somewhat Ironic things are, he lost 15% of his popularity a week in office, and then lost a bunch more when he got the prize. If I remember correctly, he had over 80%, and now has about 54%.

Personally, I think this award is trying to preemptively remove Obama from any blame when Afganistan falls because he failed to do anything.
