Oh yeah, phpBB's template system is terrible. That's the reason I don't use any of that now. Not to mention, any hacks you want have to be put into each template page. I wouldn't suggest phpBB until they fix those problems.

I updated it, is that more of what you're looking for? Don't bother with title, I just put that in place to see it if it had a title.

looks even better ;) only thing i noticed was that you left 'navigation bar' in there, that can be removed, was just used to show you what i was aiming for.
