and the eagles and giants are on the front line to non sucessful seasons. Good damn it, this year has been so depressing in so many different ways.

Not if your team consistently dominates. :)

I don't follow football a lot ...but haven't the Eagles sucked pretty bad for a while? I just may not have heard much about them.

Titusfied 2007-09-25 07:34 PM

Nope, they haven't missed the playoffs in like a decade now, had 4 trips to the NFC Championship, 1 trip to the SB, and average about 5 Pro Bowl players a year.

They finally came out playing, albeit against the Detroit Lions. Put up 56 points. Boo-yah! I was at the game too, which was badass. I'm their inspiration apparently. :)

Yeah I suppose, what's the word around town? You guys all want him gone right?..

Atleast Strahan came back..

Little update. Jaguars and the Titans have the best records in the league that aren't Division leaders. Pretty good coaching jobs when you look at the statistics of both teams, honestly.

I had the great honor of going to the Chargers game yesterday directly after my 7-day cruise, very exciting game, they're showing a replay tonight on NFL Network, go jags.

Thanatos 2007-11-19 09:24 AM

AFC South is fucking tough this year. :(

Oh, and: Fuck the Patriots.

D3V 2007-11-19 09:33 AM

56-10? They stomped the bills. We'll see how they match up against the Jaguars in the AFC Championship game o_O .. We did lose our stud MLB Mike Peterson with a fractured hand, he'll probably be gone for 3-4 weeks, but we've got depth, don't worry :)

150089 2007-11-19 09:34 AM

why jags why not cowboys

150089 2007-11-19 09:47 AM

have the cowboys played the jags yet im not sure.anyway i think it might be tough game for the cowboys.because of our center he made three or four bad snaps yesterday.luckily romo is such a good qb he threw it TO but the DB got a hand on the ball and caused an interception.

Thanatos 2007-11-19 09:58 AM

Brady heard that Romo and T.O. scored 4 TDs so he and Randy Moss just had to try and beat them.

Jaguars in the AFC Championship game?

"Sports fanboyism is the most overlooked thing ever. They get tattoos, they buy big screen TVs to watch the game, they travel around the world to watch their teams play, they name their kids after players, and it's TOTALLY acceptable in western society. No one says a thing, hell, people encourage it! They shrug off these eccentricities as just the guy thing to do, 'Oh you guys and your football, heh heh.'"

Some guy on digg said that. I thought it was rather to the point.

The term Fanboy itself is ignorant, it's basically a falsified stereotype. When has it been a bad thing to have passion in something? I'm sure you feel the same way about 'food in general', Grav... You're basically going to throw everybody under the bus because they choose to support a team and help fulfill the communities needs of fans being loyal to their team, grow up.
