I really wanted to go to that Tom Petty concert in Southbend, Indiana a year ago, but I was still on my class trip.
|
Never been to a concert either.

Lamers!

Another for the "Never Been to a Concert" group. :)

Saw The Who back in 2001 (2002?) - That was an awesome show. Glad I got to see them while Entwhistle was still alive.
Surge Fest in '98 - Got plastered, don't remember it. Moby - The show was better than the album (18). Dirty Vegas (at the Moby show) - Also better than the Moby album. Huey Lewis and the News - Totally freakin' awesome! - got the tickets for free. 20 years later, and they've still got their shit together. Eddie Money - Best free concert EVER! |
Never been to a concert either.

I've been to shitty local band free concerts, but that's about it. Only good one was a couple of brothers I know, but now they split up because of a girl. Damn good to be able to play Freebird and make it sound decent.

Went to:
Tom Petty '05 - HUGE ASS thunderstorm. I got drenched. Lightning hit the stage and shut everything off for a minute. It came back on and they started jamming right where they left off. Quite possibly one of the coolest things I've seen. Tom Petty '06 - At least 25 people from my hometown sat next to each other and every single person had weed. I was blitzed. I fuckin love Petty. Steve Miller Band '06 - Very fucking cool. Def Leppard/Journey '06 - Eh.. it was okay. I went with my girlfriend at the time and another couple. Pretty boring. John Mellencamp '06 - It was free, tons of people, very fun. And I'm going to RUSH on August 26th. Can't wait for that one. |
I could wait for that. Rush sucks, dude.
|
You're crazy.
Listen to Tom Sawyer, Freewill, Limelight, Spirit of the Radio, etc etc. They're guitar solos are insane and Geddy Lee's vocals remind me of Zeppelin. I'm fuckin pumped! |
I prefer Dragonforce. GG NO RE!
