If that helps you, great. My guess is it doesn't.

I choose to use an elevated vocabulary in my posts because that is the most succinct way I can think of to unequivocally convey my point to the best of my abilities. I don't do it simply to be pedantic.

MJ you're just being sarcastic with your writing, and are using words that don't need to be used, even if they are elevated the purpose itself doesn't change, the factual matter you have presented will still be... the same damn thing. But if it makes you feel better, keep going at it, you're only wasting your own time.

You're incorrect. I honestly can not impulsively think of a more succinct way to present my point with equal clarity as above that is not phrased the way that it is phrased above. Facts are facts no matter how they are presented. Clarity and succinctness, both virtues when posting, are, however, compromised. I'm a bit incredulous that I'm actually being patronized for trying to exemplify those two virtues.

That, and I've become so used to writing this way that this is natural now.

Somebody should probably split this thread. I seem to have inadvertently dragged it off topic by posting on topic too logically.

Hmm... D3V's kinda right man. It's hard to follow your train of thought when you type all sophisticated like that. You don't have to go out of your way to sound smart. We all get it, niqqa!

Demosthenes 2007-07-02 03:43 PM

Fair enough.

Vollstrecker 2007-07-02 05:23 PM

Boo, you even made me look up a word, I haven't done that in years. :)

/agree

There's no "clarity" when nobody knows what the fuck you're saying.

Heh. This sounds somewhat familiar.

Well, back when you were on the other side of the spectrum, I probably said similar things on occasion.
