Look at the Dragoon forum at the bottom of the page - you can only see the public bit, and not the private bit.

There could be a public bit where people can request admission, rather than being sent a PM inviting them in when they get to a certain status and age.

Eh, I don't think it'll be all that cool, plus, mostly the only time I check Zelaron out is when I'm at work, and I'm assuming that I'd now have to view it with discretion because it won't be work appropriate.. I voted no.

I couldn't care less about an adult forum for the moment, to be honest. I won't be old enough to view it for another nine months or so, so I might as well vote "no". But I won't, because !K_A! did state in his post that the opinions of those under 18 really don't matter for toffee in this case. :p

You don't feel that this would divide the forum? The forum has seen a bit more activity, but this kind of thing has the potential to seperate the forum into 'haves' and 'have-nots', if the adult memberbase no longer actively participates in the older Zel sections, especially if more adults come to the site.

What about if you name the forum something that isn't easily recognisable as an adult forum, and when the forum header is clicked only then does it show the posts - when you view it on the main page it will look like the Talk to the Staff forum does to non-staff... if that's possible?

Unless you've got access to the forum, you won't ever see it at work. If you don't want to participate, you don't have to.

I don't think it would divide the forum at all. It's not going to be like a "general conversation for the adults", it's going to be a section for adult topics and porn. Anything else will still be posted outside of that forum.

I also view Zelaron at work quite often. Also, if we DO end up getting it, I'd suggest you not include the extreme stuff (hentai, furry). Just keep it civil. We don't need to go branching out in the porn business. If you do it at all, just keep it simple.

I wouldn't consider hentai "extreme." I enjoy it from time to time. Furry porn on the other hand I would consider extreme, but we have to be considerate of all people involved :P

16 and you're the legal age for sex and marriage.
17 and you can legally drive.
18 and you can drink.

Although you can live on your own, get a job and leave full time education at 16, I don't think we're considered adults until we're 18.
