That's with playing pretty constantly and questing like mad. That really isn't that much I think.

I'm level 16 after around three weeks...

But I was gone for a week, and I only play maybe an hour a day.

!King_Amazon! 2005-03-14 06:15 PM

Then you're talking about 14 hours. I probably racked up more than that in my two days of playing. I'd get on and look at my play time but I'm taking a break today.

The Guild referred to me as a Bot for a while, as I was 30 in 3 or 4 days when I rerolled my Shaman.

WetWired 2005-03-15 06:25 AM

I don't get why you guys call it rerolling. The starting stats are fixed in this game.

Penny_Bags 2005-03-15 10:14 AM

Yeah.... I don't get it either.

Penny_Bags 2005-03-15 10:16 AM

I am level 11 undead Mage named "Contimus" on Burning Legion. I had to buy a new video card...

Damn scheduled maintance! I played last night from 7 PM to 3 AM... lol... GOD... that's gross. I wanna play more but the damn realms are being maintained!!

I might as well write my research paper.

My friend finally got wow, and registered his account. He became obsessed with it, and has skipped two days of school to play it :-\.

pr0xy 2005-03-15 11:08 AM

Its only about 4-5 hours to get to lvl 10 with priest.

!King_Amazon! 2005-03-15 03:39 PM

Obviously he calls it rerolling because everyone else does.

I really don't know why people call it that, and I've never referred to it like that. It's creating a new character.

Vollstrecker 2005-03-15 06:18 PM

Just habit from Paper AD&D days. When you died, you'd begin 're-rolling' a new character.

!King_Amazon! 2005-03-15 09:17 PM

Yes, well, I'm sure not everyone from WoW played AD&D.

I did myself and I've never used the term rerolling in my life except for in monopoly when one of the dice would fall off of the table or something.

WetWired 2005-03-16 06:54 AM

I understand that, but
  1. You didn't die
  2. The base stats in this game are fixed based off of race, class, and level; you don't roll them
  3. This isn't even a pen and paper RPG to confuse you

Randuin 2005-03-16 08:56 AM

I finally got tired of WoW

That's the same as comparing slang words to the proper use. Like saying something is 'cool' while it has nothing to do with its relative temperature.

WetWired 2005-03-16 02:02 PM

To the contrary, the use of the word cool as a contrast to feverish with rage is appropriate in the majority of the common applications of the slang term cool.

!King_Amazon! 2005-03-16 02:45 PM

Just give up Vollstrecker, there's no use arguing with WetWired. He thinks he's always right because he thinks he knows everything.

Yeah, that has nothing to do with what I'm saying.
