I don't think that is entirely necessary, at least not with a job at WaWa. It's not exactly the professional world yet. He'll be able to find another job no problem without a recommendation.

A recommendation will really help though, I'm having a shit ton of trouble getting my first job because I don't have any. Employers fucking suck.

It matters not whether you win or lose; what matters is whether I win or lose.

Slim 2004-08-01 10:52 PM

Good idea, I'll have a couple friends whore me to their bosses...I need a job that fucking badly.

D3V 2004-08-01 11:46 PM

I am having an interview at Club Continental (cooking shit...possible waiter) because I've got a few friends working there already :D. But I don't think i'll be hired because of my lack of having a previous job, and being under the age of 18.

I will probably end up at some shitty Grocery store stockin' shelves, but nonetheless, money is money.

I have worked with my Dad a few times at his work, doing random stuff that he never has time to do, but thats about it.

Me too, so far I've never had a real job. I do want to get one tough because I need some money. I need to pay for my education which is like €2500 this year excluding that I need to buy my books and a laptop which has at least a 1.8 ghz processor, 256mb ram and 32 mb video ram. :(

All I can say is that delievering papers is horrible. Having to put up with shitty weather sucks. Also I had to collect money from most of the customers every month. It was 3.95 for a month of the paper, one guy always gave me 4 dollars and always wanted his nickle. Fucking asshole, middle of Jan. I was out in the cold searching for this guys nickle.
