You guys are making a big deal out of nothing. Oh its so freaking hard to move a few tiles or use differant tragets after each gain. Its not like it slower just differant way of gaining.

Yeah, but now those of us who don't have a lot of time to actually play, have to spend it ebolting newbie creatures instead of just being able to go out and explore without worrying about being para ganked or some shit like that. I like exploring when my character can hold it's own, not when it has 66 magery. :(

Especially when I was able to convince a few of my friends to join here because you can macro up yourself a quick start with some hiding, and anatomy, only to have the quit, disappointed.

I agree, skill gain was too easy, but it just shoulda been slowed down at 70+, because, being happy that you finally got 5 or 6x GM on a character is a good feeling, but reliving all the YEARS I spent building characters on OSI shards is not. :(

Whoa, I think you should take a look at your skill gaining scripts, because skill gain is NOT the same. I've been moving lika mofo while trying to gain resist and magery. I casted over 30 flame strikes only getting .2 in gains with magery at 86. I've gained only .2 in resist after hitting myself with all those flame strikes at 75 resist. Before i gained .1 in these skills every other time I casted a spell corresponding to my ability. And after macroing resist on a boat for three hours i've only gained 1.0 at 95. Skill gain is definitly not the same.

after thingking it over i have acceptedthe fact that yes soemthign needed to be done about the macroing....although anti-macroing i personally wouldn't have done......probally jsut slowed it down.....and yes rasit the gainin is not right to say the least i have a never ending boat path and all i do is sail around the world eval my horse and a packey then doing arms lore on 5 or 6 different weps and still no where near the "mega skill gain" it used to be :{
