God, I would be scared as hell if I were on that boat in pic 2. Thats one of my biggest fears, storms in the middle of the ocean. Actually, just the hugeness of the ocean scares me... Who knows wtf is down there...

Can somebody please explain to me why the fuck that boat seems to be going INTO the hurricane.

They do research with heavy boats and heavy planes and stuff. That's how they find out how fast it is and how strong it is.

Ahoy, just got my power back today...

I live in florida, I was hoping that that damn hurricane isabel would slow down and turn left and crash into florida so I could miss a few days of school :D. I've been through a few hurricanes and a lot of tropical storms, like when andrew came through and stomped us, that was sweet cuz it tore down my fence :(

Yes... I always get excited by storms... always. They pwn my senses...

its weird how the cloud goes liek an upsidown mesa. i would be so freaked out if i was there.

From above it probably looks like the grand canyon(I've never actually seen the grand canyon for myself, so I don't know for sure.)

I stood right at the edge, its so fucking scary... I'm scared of falling... not heights, just falling.
