I would have to agree somewhat. Some people just suck with drawing but can do great modeling.

being able to model have nothing to do with even art in most people's perspective =\ but i suppose the skill to model is an art of its own and not even in the same category of what we are used to as being "art"

I would have to say modeling is art, its all about the creativity. Just like makeing a sculpture, but on a computer. Just like PS is like drawing/painting.

modelling is nothing like sculpting =\ unless you're using the skulpt tool to skulpt the whole model manually which i can tell you right now that no one does, modelling is manipulating verticies, edges, polygons to look a certain way... and the last time i checked, you can't do that in skulpting =\

Its the concept that are alike and what I am talking about. I know when you are drawing you can do a filter lol like you can in PS.
