[20:02] WetWired: The rest of the world doesn't use day, month, year, though. Some of them are really smart and use year, month, day. Why can't the world just use the ISO standard for writing dates? Probably the same reason the US doesn't follow the ISO standard for other measurements.
[20:04] WetWired: In any case, we know from what happened in the UK what would happen if we changed systems in the US. From what I've read, many of the older English citizens find metric just as confusing as ppl in the US.
