The government already has secret profiles of people that can't control it, and there's several organizations that run these, FBI, CIA, NSA. What's different about the Internet's biggest search engine doing it? more profiling? |

The problem is that Google does it for all users and in an automated way. |

It would be very easy for their methodology to be used to form profiles against people and detain certain possible offenders before they have done anything wrong |

For instance, Google could automatically alert the FBI/CIA that I've been reading up on Ted Kaczynski and that I watch shows like Dexter and say that there's a good chance that I may bomb a building one day or become a serial killer and detain me based on possibilities |

And since the National Defense Authorization Act was signed into law, the government can detain anyone who is suspected of being a terrorist or plotting an attack can be detained indefinitely without trial |
