[08:03] Lenny: That they did, but with the explosion of Indie a few years ago everything's nice and healthy.

[08:03] Lenny: Oh yeah, there's another one to check out - Franz Ferdinand. The revival of the Indie scene in Britain is widely attributed to them, amongst others. The Libertines for example.

[08:04] Lenny: For Franz Ferdinand, listen to "Take Me Out", "The Fire" and "Michael", if not others too.

[08:14] D3V: Very cool music, it was something new. I remember seeing the video right after a Modest mouse song, they sounded somewhat similar. I really liked the music video which drew me in to listen to more of their music, and I got hitched.

[08:14] Chruser: FAX +49-69/450464 is one of the best ambient labels in existence, based on its level of creativity and innovation, sound diversity and imaginary landscape painting.

[08:15] Chruser: For some reason, I haven't found any FAX listeners until date who aren't composers or visual artists themselves.

[08:18] D3V: You know one of the hardest things to do?..

[08:19] D3V: Trying to act interested when somebody is going on and on and on and on and on and on about their brilliant/wonderful/exuberant/perfect/loving/adorable/giving/intelligent/masterful/amazing kid.

[08:21] Chruser: I don't see the point in arguing for the positive abilities of your child, at least not from a subjective point of view. If the child is great, modern meritocracy should reward the child per se.

[08:22] D3V: You would think so, but most people still feel the need to spread the joy of their offspring in such a way that makes any of their possible accomplishments seem nullified.
