[10:55] WetWired: Blowfly infestation should allow you to place one counter for each instance of the enchantment, since the effect should be triggered for both

[10:56] WetWired: You can regenerate the creature as much as you like, but you can only block one creature with each creature you control unless you have an effect in play that says otherwise

[10:58] Willkillforfood: He keeps regenerating cinderbones and blocking over and over when I attack.

[10:58] WetWired: And regenerating taps the creature that regenerated

[10:59] Willkillforfood: What I'm saying is, say I attacked with a 5/5 and he has tons of mana. He keeps blocking 500,000 times on the same turn

[10:59] WetWired: (That doesn't prevent it from blocking the creature that delt it the damage causing it to regenerate)

[10:59] Willkillforfood: And kills any creature that attacks

[10:59] Willkillforfood: So after it regenerates it cannot keep block over and over until it kills the creatures from the same attack?

[11:00] WetWired: I don't get it. Once per turn, the current player may start an attack. When an attack is sucessfully started (no instants in response), the attacking player declares what creatures they are attacking with

[11:01] WetWired: then there is a chance for instants, with the defender getting first opportunity

[11:02] Willkillforfood: Okay. Let's say I attack with a 4/4. He blocks with cinderbones, and cinderbones dies. My 4/4 is now a 2/2 because of a -1/-1 counter and the damage, right?

[11:02] WetWired: then the defender must declare blockers. As soon as this happens, any attacking creatures which had blockers declared for them are blocked and cannot damage the defending player unless they have some special way to do this

[11:02] WetWired: then there is another chance for instants

[11:02] Willkillforfood: Well, he regenerates cinderbones yet again, and blocks the now 2/2 creature again, killing it.

[11:02] WetWired: then the attacking creatures damage the blockers and vice-versa

[11:03] Willkillforfood: Do you understand what he does now?

[11:03] Willkillforfood: My attacking creature is blocked not once, but as many times as it takes until he's dead, as long as he has enough mana to regenerate him.

[11:03] WetWired: No, Did you read what I just said? There is one attack and one block

[11:04] WetWired: And because of wither, it would appear that the creature doesn't damage your creature at all, it just gets a -1/-1 counter

[11:04] Willkillforfood: I thought that sounded pretty fucking fishy.

[11:04] Willkillforfood: so he'd just be a 3/3

[11:05] WetWired: So you attack with the 5/5, he declares Cinderbones as a blocker. Before damage is dealt, he pays 1B to put up a regeneration bubble on cinderbones

[11:05] WetWired: Your 5/5 kill cinderbones, but instead it regenerates and taps. Cinderbones puts a -1/-1 counter on your 5/5, which is now a 4/4 which still has taken no damage

[11:06] WetWired: The attack is then over

[11:06] Willkillforfood: k

[11:06] WetWired: Damage or not, when your creature has 0 or less defence, it is dead

[11:06] Willkillforfood: Yea

[11:07] WetWired: And damage doesn't reduce attack nor defence

[11:07] Willkillforfood: He was passing it off as if you could keep regenerating the same creature and blocking with it against the same attack.

[11:07] WetWired: Just when the damage meets or exceeds the defence, the creature dies

[11:07] WetWired: No, blockers are declared once per attack

[11:08] WetWired: And if you have one of those special cards that lets you attack again, the cinderbones is tapped from regnerating and cannot block

[11:08] WetWired: This does nto prevent it from regenerating again on the same turn, though, just from blocking
