Starcrat vs. War2

Its sad that people think starcraft is better. I am an EXPERT at both (among the top 50 war2 players worldwide), and it saddens me that Starcraft is more popular.

When I first got SC, I admit I thought it was better. I thought there was more strategy then War2, and in my mind thats the most important part of an RTS.

But my friends, I was sorly mistaken - SC strategy comes down to macromanagment (ie: bulding most units, quicker) and War2 has much more micromanagment (ie: grunt lines, tower spaces, setups, ect...).

It's obvious to me now that War2 is a better game, and if anyone is interested in trying it, I have several LEGIT cd-keys (I've had to buy replacment CD's or friends gave me their old keys) and I'de be willing to share them if people want.

If people are afraind of lack f competition, there are currently more War2 players than many of the TOP new game (ie: theres normally 3500 War2 players combined in the realms).

but it seems like war 2 is all about luck. i mean like once you choose what you go for thats it and you better hope it counters what they go for. and theres so many cheap units....death and decay shit like that. of course theres a counter for everything but once you choose what you go for you dont really have time to counter. thats what i liked about starcraft.

Yes you can get it for free.
Download a program calld Direct Connect.
This program rulez, you can download almost EVERYTHING you want from other ppls HD's. ( if they have that you want )

And yes there is surely(?) almost none strategy i SC.

I like SC(if you mean SC Broodwar, just normal SC sux) better... although i have both games (WC2 and SC). SC Broodwar... better graphics, more fun. On the other hand, WC2 i love those dragons and those dark summoner guy for orcs.

I remember on WC2 I had to build 6 barracks and people went air alot. Now on WC3 you only have to build 1 or barracks an it is rare to see someone use air.

starcraft is one of its kind; while Warcraft2 is just a remake (cheap, if you will) of the original warcraft.

i didnt like the age of empires series all that much cause it required way too much quick thinking but i cant quite say the same thing for starcraft.
