whats the best anti-virus software?
i dont wanna run a few programs i have before i scan em with at least 2 or 3 GOOD ones
i would use the cleaner but my trial ran out and i cant find a username/password for it anywhere

Well, I use F-Prot. It's a very powerful scanner, but also very paranoid. It's also easy to get a serial key for it...

I use the good old norton anti-virus.
norton misses lots of stuff..and i sure as hell wont pay $30 for it or get a virus infested one from *****

I'm sorry drx, f-prot uses a patch not a serial key. I'm not gonna post the link right now for the reaseon of its not from any known sites, therefore most people wouldnt trust. lemme know if u want me pm link or e-mail the patch.
how bout u post the link and ill see if hellmonkeys wants to scan it with one of his 15+ virus scanners

here are the facts:
popular anti-virus programs usually dotn pick u virus's(good ones) because the virus itself fucks up the anti virus program, therefor the best anti-virus program id have to say is a less common one with the same features and techniques of scanning...

norton... but if you're worried about viruses, dont download anything you dont think you'll need, and download from trusted sites.

they might be different versions, mine is closer to 5MB, but there is a DOS version which is much smaller

just go to cnet.com or downloads.com(same shit) thats where i got mine, so i knew for a fact it was clean

Yea Cnet.com and downloads.com usually have good virus scanners for trial use or even shareware for less effective kinds.
