Well, you can run XP on a fuckin 400mhz, and it still runs nice.....

I would say the req. is 64mhz for XP or so (I ahve windows 98 loaded in a 64mhz)

I'm just reminding you that XP doesn't like upgrades, so if you're planning any upgrades in the next 3 months or so, I suggest rescheduling them to now. As for sys req, I don't remember. I recommend 512M or RAM for sure.

I bought xp home today and it says it is incompatible with....

Modem
Conexant SoftK56 Data,Fax PCI Modem

Sound, video and game controllers
Riptide PCI Audio Legacy Resources
Riptide Virtual Gameport

anyone know where I can find the updates for these?

edit: Nevermind I fixed my own problem
they are not really supposed to be incompatible with xp just an error in the report
