Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee!!

Okay, I have seen only the badass commercial and read a review for it on IGN. Has anyone had a chance to rent it, play a demo, or purchase it? IGN had nothing but immense praise for it, and the screens and videos I have seen look pretty awesome. Does anyone have a hands-on opinion of the game? I'm really considering buying and I want to make sure I'm geting my money's worth.

It's supposed to be a multiplayer arcade fighter type game. The guys at IGN loved it, but the review at Gamespot was pretty harsh. I'm not sure what to think.

Is it kinda like super smash brothers? Or more along the lines of outrage. (anyone remember that game)

Well, IGN says that the game is nonstop fun, like Smash Bros, but the gameplay mechanics aren't much like it. The only similarity in the mechanics is that every character has a move set for B, Forward + B, Up + B, and Down + B.
