Compared to UED...

What would you say is the best program?
WorldCraft of UnrealED, and why?

Personally, I like UED, simply because it has a nicer interface, and it's "easier" to edit stuff.

I use Worldcraft to do my map making.

UED I haven't used yet so I should probably try that.

I have always liked expressing my opinion in my maps, one of the best ones I've made is called cs_swatmap. As a counter-terrorist you protect the hostages from the evil terrorists :]

There are two buildings two stories each, and each with roof access. There is also a sewer system in hopes to suprise your enemy.

In the center of the map there is an enclosed area. Only jumping from the roof gets you into this area. It's pretty decent for hiding and there are movable barrels.

I used Worldcraft to do this but I will try UED next.

It would be cool to hear someone explain some of the differences. The BSP systems are very different, for instance.

well,
worldcraft is additive and ued is based on a subtractive system.
in ued you start with cutting out an room and in worldcraft you add wales and a ground.... something like that... I love the ued! I tried worldcraft but its a pain in the ass to get it running... I am soon going to leanr qradiant...

I like the UED "digging" system aswell, it works great.

Mapping system is somehow pretty hard to find. But once you are good at it, new map is the best thing to play with.

Well...it depends on how popular you are and how smart you are. For an example, your map, no one will play since it is so PLAIN~
