rock can live without ebonics. and look at the "nowaday" rap. it's a very simple techno melody some lame beat and some trashy poshy clothed blacks who sing how hard life in the ghetto is(look at their clothes).
I still enjoy RUN DMC or older stuff like "Del tha Funky homosapien". That was good rap and also a bit funny at times... and yes I remember the jungle brothers and there was another good rap band...

the 1st one who mentions eminem, p. diddy (LOL) or even the fashy clothed outkast guys will be on my eternal list of comercialism and it's negative influence....
