My slow ass DSL

Can someone help me out here?
I use Southwester Bell Services and have a
Kingston KNE111TX Network Card and a
SpeedStream 5360 DSL Modem.

I can only generally download at 40kb/s whereas a couple of my friends across town with the same Provider/Modem download @ 120kb/s.

The network card came with the DSL Modem, but there were two types and they sent you a random one. Both of my friends got the other network card with their Modem.

Do I need to get a new network card, or is there something I need to do to fix up my internet??? :confused:

I average around 60-80 kbs, I'm not complaning.

Try optimizing your connection with a program. Or download from a differnt server. Or get an internet download manager.

Yeah, what program would I use to do so for cable?
