I liked the first Zelda for Nintendo 64. It was pretty tight. It was also a pretty damn big game in my opinion. I foundit mysterous also, going through the desert following that ghost, going through that temple where at the end you fight Bongo, those hands... (it was a freaky yet totally kick ass game) Plus I liked riding and jumping with Epona... lol
GameCube

Conker's Bad Fur Day, Ocarina of Time, and Banjo Kazooie/Tooie. Conker was just too damn funny to not love, Ocarina was just AMAZING in every category, and the Banjo games had some of the best level design, character design (for Rare standards) and music of any N64 game.

what about perfect dark? that was made by rare

Oh, Perfect Dark was awesome. I just didn't have as much fun playing through it as the others I listed. I can't wait for the next one, though!

Zelda forsure, good old Golden Eye, and Super Smash Bros. Zelda because it is so indepth, goldeneye because its fun shooting things, yet still think, and SSB because its the best multiplayer game alive. (maybe other that SSB Melee) Oh yeah and Gauntlet Legends, its fun mindless destuction.

Hey, those games are fun, buddy! You're 16 and you're already complaining about being too mature to play Zelda games?
Mr.Lee
04-13-2002, 02:54 AM
i dont play any fucking 64 games longer!
Raziel
04-13-2002, 03:28 AM
Whoa! Calm down there, buddy. All I said was that you're a little young to be complaining about certain video games being too "child oriented".

I don't quite understand the theory that Nintendo is the only company that makes lots of child-oriented games. Look at games like Spyro, Crash Bandicoot, and Ape Escape. Those were some of the most advertised games released on the Playstation. They were definitely pushed more heavily than Silent Hill or Evil Dead, both of which were great games I might add. Every video game console in history has had it's share of child-oriented games. It's just that most people pass EVERYTHING on the N64 off as being "made for kids", which is simply not true.

the sony titles you mentioned don't carry the entire weight of the console, however.

But, by the same token, it's not Banjo-Kazooie and SM64 that bring in all of the N64's profit either.

true. many people want FPS and RPGs

Too bad there were only two actual RPGs on the N64....and only one of them was even close to respectable.
GameCube

which one is that

Aidyn Chronicles. I heard it was pretty good, but never played it myself. Quest 64 was the other one, and it was just horrible.

Hmmmm...favorite game eh?
For me it would be Ogre Battle 64.
It's a RPG with some RTS worked into it. Very complex, but once you understand what's going on, it's the bomb shiznit.

it's also one of the longer games for n64, at a suggested minimum of 40 hours.

Perfect Dark is a really long game to beat all 4 difficulties and all cheats

I never saw Ogre Battle 64 in-store anywhere. I really wanted to try it out, but nobody ever seemed to have it in stock.
