MS: What major developments could we see within the next year or so?
AA: We would definitely like to include vehicles. At first, with the Air Assault missions, we will provide helicopters to rappel from as we are already including fixed-wing aircraft for parachute jumps. The major challenge here is the physics with the ropes and rappelling. Next, we will probably include static ground vehicles in overwatch positions with usable heavy weapons as well as airstrike support from such well-known aircraft as the Spectre gunship. Ballistics is another change (i.e. firing thru wood, doors, tents, etc) Finally, we want to include fully drivable ground vehicles with crews and weapons. As you might expect, this is a large project and will require a major development effort, so don't plan on seeing it anytime soon. Another thing we would consider is a map editor, but only for use on unauthorized servers. Again, this is a major issue and could easily be dropped if we cannot get complete security over our existing maps. In the meantime, however, we are currently developing a number of different maps - many of which are much larger. You will be seeing these throughout the fall.
