So much for neocron, I'm sick of the bugs and the way they continually nerf Psi monks, and the beta ends on Sept 15 anyway. I just gave my 1 billion creds to my clan and never plan to play this game again.

1) Psi-Spells all have a powerup time. Bullets do not, They just, fly. As such, it is VERY easy to avoid the spells. Soon as you see the monk do his powerup, go behind a wall and you're 100% safe.. ALWAYS. This would not be a big deal if Psi-Spells did 10x the damage of bullets, which IMO they should (more on this later), but as it stands, even the lowest of high tech weapons does more damage

2) Damage wise we only have Energy. Fire and Toxin has been nerfed so bad, everyone laughs in Plaza when someone tries to sell Firelance or a toxic version of it.

3) To successfuly launch the Psi-Spell, we have to have the target in our sights for the entire power-up time. This is very hard to do, and gun users do not ever have to deal with this. How about making it so when you click, if you have a target selected, it WILL launch. There is still a 2 second delay which gives them PLENTY of time to dodge it. Not to mention, if it's a ball, he can see the projectile flying and still dodge it even after it launches.

4) Psi-Spells take MUCH longer to shoot then bullets, they do less damage then high end bullets (much much less). Psi-Monks have almost no implants to use, no bone enforcements and VERY little armor to play with. In each category, Tanks would have at least 3x the choice. To top it off, Psi-spells fizzle in PvP and from what I noticed, about every 8th spell launches. Be it lag, or game logic, the fact is, it's 10x harder to hit with a spell then a bullet.

As such, I believe that 1) Psi-Spells should launch no matter what as long as you had a target in your reticule at the moment you clicked the mouse button (same as bullets)

2) Psi-Spells should do at least 5x the damage they already do. After all, Psi-Monks have piss poor health, armor, so they should at LEAST do the damage (they ARE the equivalent of mages, are they not?)

Well what game do you know a Tank to do more damage then a mage?

Likewise, Fire and Toxic spells should be boostet up, beacuse right now, everyone only boosts Energy resistance because they know that's all Psi-Monks use. As such, we do barely any damage in PvP since everyone's Energy-resistance is so high.

Still no spells descriptions (how the hell something makes it to retail with no descriptions on spells I have no goddamn idea).

Still major issues with LOS.

Still major Issues with spells being crap at high lvls.

Still issues with heal and shelter.

Still issues with our armour not adding up correctly.

Still issues with us getting less xp per hit for the same damage

Still fewer implants - and harder to get

Still A very slow powerup time on spells

Still very slow casting speed

Still very slow psi recharge

Still Bugs with boosters - and low heal on the boosters we have

Still problems with spells of higher lvls doing almost no more damage than the lower one - Ie holy = 2 more points damage than normal.

Basically I can only assume that reakktor either

a) Dont give a crap about our issue and bug reports

b) Do no want anyone to play psi monks in retail

c) Hate psi monks and all play tanks etc themselves

** Psi - ** Tank - Tank wielding RGC (admitedly high lvl RGC) Im wielding equally high req spell - He gets 5k str per hit - I get 1k psi - we both do about the same damage. To top it all off I need more PSI xp to lvl than he does in str and he is higher str than me . How does that work out?

Seriously - take a look at psi monks - Im not calling for nerfs of tanks here BTW - just asking why is this the case? And please bring psi monks into line with the rest of the classes.

PSI users did not.

that is a definate bonus that PSI can do TANK damage with no ammo, because ammo is very heavy and spent very fast.

while it may not warrent a 1/5th xp ratio... it is still a factor.

I would like to clear this up once and for all. Cause its a common response.

My spell costs 30 psi to cast - as well as 20 stam. I have 238 psi - Thats the max amount you can have BTW - so lets see - 238/30 = 7 casts - that assumes none fizzle (bwahahahahahahahaha) Now a Hurler (for which I get no xp btw) takes 6 shots approx to kill - so 1 hurler takes my entire psi - now a psi booster 3 gives back 60 psi (another 2 shots - and also sucks my stam). Ok psi boosters 3 cost me 220 per booster - I have 11 str (my psi implants all take from my str) so I can carry about 100 psi boosters - assuming I dont carry med kits or anything else much. I need approximately 4 psi boosters to heal my psi back to full and kill a hurler - so I can kill 25 hurlers for the cost of 22k creds - dont get me started on warbots and the amount of psi I need to kill them - Psi heals VERY VERY VERY slowly - so I cannot wait for it to heal.

So I have low str / low stam / low psi - a slow psi heal rate and boosters are next to useless for the cost (but I have no alternative) So Do start on how heavy and expensive ammo is and how psi monks have a huge advantage - cause unless they triple the psi heal rate our advantage is zero - in fact is a disadvantage cause it costs 1 ammo per shot and 30 psi per cast

The only reason I am even able to USE my psi is because of how much money I have (which is of questionable origin ^_^ ) if I wasn't rich off my ass I wouldn't be able to shoot at all.

Play it smart, get your PSI monk to the highest level you can or whatevr, then dont play him for awhile, few months down the road they will beef him up and it will be godly... every other mmorpg I know of, the weakest character class at the release of the game some how ends up becoming the most powerful months down the road because the other ones get nerfed while this one gets beefed up heh.
