hey i saw a thread by hellmonkeys of how to get untagged but i didnt bookmark it cuz i didnt need it at the time. well im tagged now and i searched for the thread for about an hour and i cant find it so can u plz tell me how to get untagged? thnx

He took it down. I'll just post it here because I don't think bliz comes here often..

1. Open your D2 folder.
2. Delete "BNCache".
3. Delete notepad files called "D232469654198765", the numbers can be anything.
4. You are untagged.

tried it like 5 times
here is an example:
sort items by name
deleted BNcache
deleted various D######## notepad files (all of em)
sort by type
run d2
get into bnet
try to enter these games:
duel
duels
duelz
duelss
duelzz
trade
trade1
trade2
trade3

only 1 of em existed...
so i tried to make duel
game already exists with this name...try to join...cant enter...

cycle continues..

doesnt this usually go away after a while, i had this and it was temp so i dont think you have anything to worry about anyway

Well, this worked for both me and Hellmonkeys. I guess b.net changed it.

yeah i think the tags go aways for a while i hde it like 2 times but it went away

what do you think could have caused me being tagged? an errorous packet from pindle/mephbot?
