damnit my monitor is completely fucked up right now, I cannot stay in my pc more then 20-30mins cuz my monitor suddenly switches off, i gotta remove the plug let it rest a time and switch it on again...I just don't understand wtf is wrong with it cuz...well, XP energy administration is switched off so it doesn't shuts HDD's nor the monitor...Anyone has any idea? I'm thinking the problem may be in the AC/DC source of the monitor...It seems that it switches off when overheats.
More tips: It's a LG studioworks 77i and when it switches down the power led of it blink 5 or 6 times and then go off too... any suggestions???

First suggestion: Buy a new monitor. One that has been manufactured this year.
I have a Philips monitor that is like 19 inch or so and can support 1920 x 1440 resolutions, I have played both Morrowind and AA at that res.

This one has 3 or 4 yrs, and, well, I haven't got ne money to buy it...And, well, my parents are pissed enough at me to be happy of this happening so they won't buy a new one =(

you have to get a new monitor, this happened to my 19' monitor and it blicked as you said a couple of times, then shut off, only mine just never was possible to turn back on and it burnt inside... this is bound to happen to you, your getting surges of energy unstable thats going into your monitor, it's bound to blow up any time now, so just send it back to the company for repaires if it is under warrenty.

either go check if your warrenty has expired yet or get a job. thats my advice to you anyways sirpullido. besides, a monitor these days cost you cheap. you can get a bran new one anywere with only your pocket change, so i wouldnt care less if my monitor gets busted.
